Motorola makes horrible products!.......2007-12-20

I've had this earpiece for less than a year and it no longer works.

First, the battery cap started popping open frequently causing me to loose the connection with the phone. And now, the unit won't even power on.

When it did work the sound quality was decent. However, people on the other end told me there was an echo and/or a signifigant amount of background noise heard.

After having a Motorola Razr-which is possibly the worst cell phone ever produced-and this earpiece, I'll have to say that I will never buy another Motorola product.
(These aren't the only Motorola items I've owned.)

Good Except for Battery Life .......2007-12-16

I will qualify this with the fact that this is my first Bluetooth headset, so I have no others to compare. I used the included battery for about two weeks before it just stopped working. It still made tones and turned on, but my phone could not find it. So there is basically no warning when it decides to quit. As for the actual life of a battery, I have no real data.

My wife has a cheaper generic model that has crappy sound and too much background noise. She said mine was much better in quality. For me, the ability to use AAA batteries was a big selling point. No "special" expensive battery to buy, and if you recharge, even better. It is pretty basic, and that is what I need. Nothing very special for my phone, but if you have voice calling, it is supposed to be compatible.

Great With RAZR And Using in My Car.......2007-11-30

The H300 Works great with my RAZR and Blackberry. It's loud enough for me at 1/2 volume, and I started my first ten calls with "I have a new headset, does the microphone sound OK?" and everyone said it was good.

I like the fact that I can have it in my pocket or leave it in the car without having to plug it in every night to charge like other BTs, and I don't wear it on for long periods of time, so I don't have any gripes about a little extra size and weight for the battery ---and I like knowing that I can swap the battery as needed (I use rechargeable AAA and always have one handy).

If I have a day at the office where I need to wear a headset for a few hours and want background noise suppression, I use my Jabra instead (very comfortable and good noise reduction design), but that involves a daily plug-in / charging routine and I've already had to send it back with a dead battery for a warranty replacement ---something that'll never be an issue with the H300.

greatest blue tooth i have found. easy to hear from (if turned up all the way) and others can hear what people around you are saying for about 6 feet clearly. battery life is as advertised i tested that. only thing i do not like is to connect it to the phone if i can talking it disconnected the call and i cannot get it to work for non calling stuff (like when i play music)besides those 2 things i love it greatly and liked it so much i went and got an extra one!

I got this about 4 weeks ago. Still on first battery (I did take two weeks vacation not using it) but after two weeks of moderate use no sign of low battery.
