The Nokia Wireless Keyboard is a perfect business tool and offers support for 3rd party applications. It will be available in English and German/Scandinavian keyboard layouts and the wireless keyboard applications for compatible mobile phone will have support for English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish.
The Nokia Wireless Keyboard is powered by two AAA batteries enabling an operating time of up to 50 hours, weighs only 190 grams and measures 262 x 87 x 13 mm when open and 133 x 87 x 19 mm when folded.

I bought this keyboard to go along with my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet and Nokia E61i smartphone. The unit works exactly as advertised and seems well made. The SU-8W is a good keyboard, but it doesn't suit my tasks very well.
I travel for work quite a bit and having a keyboard to make data entries is a huge relief. Both N800 and E61i have QWERTY options, but nothing like the convenience of a keyboard. The problem with the SU-8W is the keyboard is too small!
I'm a touch typist and I found myself tapping the CapsLock key by mistake. Or I'd tap the Fn key - which turns the top row of keys into the number row - and I'd get a string of da5a 5ha5 l99ks l8k3 5hi5 c9m0l353 n9ns3ns3! To get symbols, you must press the Fn key and the shift to get the symbols above your numbers.
I understand why Nokia eliminated the top row of keys and I can't say I blame them. The keyboard is very compact. In fact, when folded, the SU-8W is about the same size as the original Palm Pilot.
Installing the software is a little bit tricky. My N800 had the software built in, but I had to get the keyboard driver for my E61i from the Nokia Europe website. It only took a moment to find online and the download was 184Kb. Once paired, the device response was very quick. Very little lag between keystroke and display. Do your research to be sure that your device is able to communicate with the SU-8W.
I would recommend this device to people that wish to write emails, IMs or text messages. Two-finger hunt and peck typing suits this keyboard best for people with normal to large hands. If you need to enter a lot of numbers or perform extensive data entry, I would consider another keyboard like the iGo Stowaway. It appears that the Stowaway is the only full size portable folding keyboard on the market.

Good, but not great for non-qwerty devices........2007-05-27
I first heard of this product when I started using the Nokia N93 and experienced qwerty withdrawals! :)
Upon purchase I had trouble downloading the keyboard software into the Nokia N93, for the keyboard's installer card was in the older MMC format while the N93 only accepted miniSD. Luckily I came across the site for Nokia Europe and found a download link for the keyboard software...once I got it on my Mac desktop the bluetooth sent it straight to my N93 and all was well.
Using the keyboard with automatic bluetooth pairing to the N93 was like magic, and I enjoyed seeing others watching me in awe as I typed word docs onto the mini laptop computer! The buttons had good feedback, but for some reason they didn't feel as sturdy as a regular full-sized keyboard or a built-in smartphone keyboard. Maybe it was me, but when I went off of typing from the feel of the keys I ended up with a few typos on occasion. The fact that the numbers did not have their own row really slowed down my typing since I had to press the green FN key to enable them.
Eventually the bulk of carrying the keyboard along with the N93 (which is bulky enough as it is) got old pretty quick after a while. I thought that this wouldn't be so bad once I got the smaller N95, but I was wrong.
At the end of the day I just simply missed having an all-in-one qwerty device at my fingertips.
This Nokia bluetooth may be a great find for non-qwerty devices, but I think it is in a marketing limbo. Those such as myself who write regularly on their devices for emails or word docs or spreadsheets tend to gravitate towards built-in qwertys while those who don't...just simply don't.
When I bought this keyboard I noticed that supply for it was truly SCARCE...the online retailer I got it from only had three left!
Though the romance with this thing was fun while it lasted, I wouldn't be surprised if Nokia axes future production of this product altogether.
