The Samsung Digital Natural Image engine (DNIe) Video Enhancer refines all analog NTSC and wideband video inputs for an overall improvement in picture quality. TruSurround XT audio adds three new audio enhancement technologies to produce an amazingly immersive sound experience.

Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound.

I finally figured out I needed a HMDI cable to get PIP. None of the emails I sent to Samsung help told me that. Sorry. It is a beautiful white cabinet and so far all is good.
NO PIP.......2007-06-18
I selected this model because it promised PIP. It does not display PIP from a VCR or DVD player. I don't know how they can promise PIP. These reviews were helpful to me so I felt I should share my opinion also. It does have a beautiful white case and is light enough to lift and move around.

The best feature of the Samsung LNs2652 is it's sleek design and attractive encasing. We have connected the tv directly into the cable outlet without running it the hdtv cable box. While the picture is acceptable, performance may be enhanced with a hdtv hook up.
