Worst headphones ever.......2007-12-20
These are the worst headphones I have ever purchased. The packaging is terrible, the carry case deserves a hammer, and the cable is far too short.

Good, Inexpensive Basic Earbuds.......2007-12-04
I bought these buds as a replacement for my old Philips earbuds that developed a short in 1 side (after I rolled away from my laptop, while plugged in, past the 3 ft or so cord length). I've added the foam covers and so far the overall sound is better than my previous pair, with stronger bass.
I'm not sure what all of the complains about the case are about. I've been using buds for years now and while this case isn't as easy to use as some cases I've used, it's certainly not worth complaining so loudly about that I need to return the product.
Good sound, but not very sturdy.......2007-11-10
For the price, the sound quality is great. In that regard, this product holds up to any other headphones or earphones I have purchased. I agree with the previous reviewer that the foam covers are not necessary. These are quite comfortable without either the foam or rubber covers.
That being said, I am rather disappointed that these earbuds are already headed for the trash bin. It took almost no time for the rubber pieces to stretch to the point where they wouldn't stay on the earpieces. And now, the left earpiece has completely come apart. I do use the earphones with my iPod for several hours every day; but I felt they should have held up longer than the few months I've owned them. So, my opinion is I've lost the value in the price savings, because now I have to buy another pair.
I rarely use the case, so the fact that it may not have been designed properly is not a real issue for me; however, I can understand the other reviewers' frustration with it. Removing the case from the packaging for the first time was a pain. I did find that after the initial attempt, I had no problem winding and un-winding the earphones from the case.
Overall I like these, but they are probably better for very light use, and they should definitely be kept in the case when not in use.
Good sound, bad case.......2007-10-29
The earbuds seem to be good quality with a nice sound, particularly in the bass. Like many other reviewers, I had a ton of trouble with the wind-up case. After several tries with the chord getting stuck, I just broke the case open.
If you want some good earbuds with nice sound quality for a good price, these are a good choice. If the chord wind-up feature is important to you, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Are You Kidding Me?.......2007-10-28
Giving the product a 1 or 2 just because of the CASE?! Come on guys... It's really not hard to figure out. I didn't even have to read any of the reviews and I got mine out. It's actually pretty obvious: what is the only thing not covered up? The connector. What should be your first instinct to pull out? The connector.
Anyway. The reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 is simply because I haven't had them long enough to give a perfect rating. AWESOME sound quality and they fit perfectly in my ears. Of course, people have different ears, and like all earbuds, they actually might not fit in your ears. I actually don't know how often I'll use the case, since it really takes too much of my precious time winding and un-winding. I'll most likely store the case and simply wrap the buds around my Gigabeat.
Buy this product if you want great quality earbuds.
