I have no complaints or suggestions for these head phones. The sound quality for these is by far the best I have heard in a pair of head phones. They cancel out alot of outside noise, they have a very good treble, and they also pull out the bass that is forgotten about in alot of others. I would defiantly reccomend this over all others.
Good Headphones, A little small around the ears.......2007-09-28
I shopped for a while, and these seemed like good ones with a good brand. Also, I was able to buy them for $46 shipped, which seemed like a good deal. Retail is $119, but I think that's a bit off track.
The headphones seem decently constructed, and I like the cord. The first negative I noted when I got them was that they don't fit over the ears, they sit on them. As in, for probably 95% of people, they would wear these with the back pad resting on the ear. Besides the comfort issue here, they're also not overly stable in this position and feel like they're gonna slide. This being said, I think they block sound well and are not overly uncomfortable. I'm surprised at that, because I'd think it'd drive me crazy, but doesn't. However, I have some old Koss UR-20's that are huge and feel very nice, and I definitely notice the difference. One good point here is that I don't think they make my ears as hot as the UR-20's do.
CORRECTION: These do fit over my ears, it's just that they have some rubbery ring inside the cushion donut that pushes on my ear. I'd probably like the feel better if that was set farther in to give a little more depth for the ear.
A minor complaint I have is that it's overly easy for them to flip outward when you take them off. These are geared toward DJ's from their site, so this is probably intentional. Still, it'd be nice if there was a tendency for them to return to the natural position. Maybe a certain range of unobstructed movement that you can force them to flip out of and then snap back into.
The sound quality seems good to me. I've not used these headphones for overly long, and I'm not a sound junky so I'd recommend not taking my vote on sound too strongly. Also, I've not listened to much music on them and not played with any equalizers with them, etc. Maybe I can update this review later.
Addition: I think the sound is very good from the music I've listened to.

I wasn't expecting much for $50.00, but i like these. I connected them to my Cmoy amp and now have a good portable solution to weak headphones. I wouldn't consider them the best, but for the price, im happy.

A friend of mine introduced me to the world of Audio Technica and I am definitly hooked.
These are first AT headphones I purchased and was definitly not let down. The mids and highs of these headphones are excellent!Bass is tight and present but not these strongpoint of these headphones. I wouldn't reccommend these to Bass hungry listeners or fans of Skullcandy's Skullcrushers but the bass is solid but not overdone.
Listening to these headphones for the first time is definitly an eye opening experience. You will hear things in your music you had not heard before with amazing clarity and presence.
These are hands down THE BEST Headphones on the market for under $100.00!

Sadly, this well designed item doesn't work for me. It comes detached from its clip while I'm exercising and plunges to the floor dragging my headphones off.

This is a great product. I don't really use the belt clip part, but the case protects my ipod well. I only wish there was something to cover the screen and maybe the wheel too.

Soft and flexible, it's easy to get on and off your Nano, should you need to. I haven't taken mine out of the skin since I got it. Fits with no trouble in my speaker dock. Feels nice to touch, too -- and it doesn't grab dirt or lint. Not very bulky, either. I did get separate protectors, the clear stick-on things, for the wheel and the screen; this doesn't protect those.
It doesn't offer good access to the hold button, but I've never actually USED the hold button so it doesn't bother me.
The clip arrangement is not great. You have a screw that goes into a reinforced area on the back of the skin, and a hard, clear plastic clip is supposed to lock onto the head of the screw. Getting the clip onto the screw head has proven impossible for me, and if you leave the screw in the back of the skin, it won't lie flat should you want it to. Take the screw out, there's no good place to keep it. Fortunately this comes with a lanyard, and that's what I use -- just sling it around my neck when I'm going to or leaving my car.
I got the... uh, the brownish colored one; it looks fine on a silver Nano. If you've got a colorful player, don't expect to see it unless you leave it naked or put it in hard, clear plastic.
A Pretty Good Product.......2007-01-06
I got this on christmas for my red ipod nano. It offers good protection for your ipod, but there were a few problems with this case. For one, it distorts the color of my red ipod, making it more orange than red. Also, the skin doesn't quite match up with the ipod. the hold button is extremely difficult to use because of this. Nevertheless, I thought this was a pretty good skin, but you could probably buy better.
