Don't plan on putting it on a keychain.......2007-09-28
I got one of these and was very happy at first. After about 3 days, I was leaving work and saw it sitting on the ground in front of my car. The plastic loop at the end, where you would hook it onto a keyring, broke in half. I contacted the manufacturer, and they did replace it for me, but told me that is a LANYARD hook, this SHOULD NOT be carried around on a keychain or keyring. The second one they sent me, the cap won't stay on, and within a week, the same loop broke. If you ask me, there isn't much value to a USB Flash drive that isn't designed well to be carried around with you (I mean c'mon, who wears a lanyard?). This sits in my laptop bag, only to be missing every time I go look for it.
I was looking for this for three days to transfer some files off a REALLY old laptop that didn't have a CD Burner or internet/network access. I finally borrowed one from someone else, and then found this today, somehow on the floorboard of my car. I'm heading out today to buy a replacement. I recommend avoiding this one, it's caused me nothing but headaches.

This has been the best flash drive i have had so far...i am constantly storing gis data, and my research project files, and it works great. I have never had a problem with it.

I love flash drives -- whoever created them should be sainted. But, this product is a flash drive... it works. You save stuff on it... so? My big problem is that the bloody cap is not connected to the drive... that'll take me about a month to lose (probably less... I'm trying to be optimistic). When will maufacturers of these wonderful little guys connect caps as a standard and apparently a small rivet or a 1" piece of nylon cord costs about $10 bucks to add to to these guys.

It does'nt work. It keeps asking to be formatted each time I plug it in. It looks cute, but it is totally useless. I keep formating and as soon as i pull it out and stick it back in , same thing happens again and again. What gives? What I am supposed to do? Any body can help me please.

The flash drive is ok, I guess, but the item description CLAIMS that a USB cable is included which is a lie. The package the drive comes in is just big enough for the cable, so it's not like the package was only partly-filled. When I contacted Amazon about the problem they told me to contact the manufacturer, who finally responded 3-4 weeks later. BUY SOMETHING ELSE!

It works great-- I've had this drive for a year now, and I'm not gentle. It went for a spin cycle today (wash and dry). Still works fine.

This USB barely lasted for two weeks, right after saving some files from a laptop computer the device completely stopped working and not it doesn't even turns on. However this one could be a defective model but as far as I got to use it for my college duties it was a big disapointment.

I received this 1GB drive for Christmas. I really wanted it because I update data all the time and didn't want to have to save it on every computer I use. After two weeks it just stopped working. The case got very warm and now my computer doesn't recognize it and says it has malfunctioned. I'm really not a happy camper, but it gets a 3 because I liked it while it was working. I hope the company can recover my data.

I just wanted to add that it is now Feb. 6 and I still have not received my replacement. I have not been able to contact someone by phone who would help me. I keep getting sent to someone's voice mail and he never calls me back.
