I first bought this for myself at the recommendation of an IT specialist who had extensively researched flash drives. The compartmentalized encryption is a great way to safely store personal data, especially on travel (such as a copy of your passport, travel itinerary, credit card numbers, drivers license, medicine prescriptions, eyeglass prescription etc) or as a back-up for important files in the case of emergency (e.g insurance policies, account numbers). For business travelers, using the encrypted portion for company-proprietary company documents further protects your sensitive documents in case the flash drive is ever lost or stolen. Just be sure not to forgot the answer to your security question that allows you to retrieve a forgotten password. The non-encrypted portion (the size of which you determine) is handy for quick transfers of data without going through the encryption. My only disppointment was finding out, after giving this as a gift to a Mac owner, that the encryption will not work on a Mac computer.

I'm very happy with this Flash Drive. It's big enough to backup necessary files. It works fast, and it was easy to set up. I found the price to be better then on the other websites.

Great buy. Good prince, shipping is a little too much, but the drive itself is really nice. It's never given me any problems. It works fast, and it's very sturdy. I've put it in the washing machine by mistake twice, dropped it, stepped on it, and it's still working.

Bought it a few months ago, have documents and pictures on it. Very easy to format, and save stuff to it. The computer recognizes it immediately. So far so good. When I attach it to the computer and load the pictures, it is fast. Pleased with it. I have also a 4GB which I haven't used yet, as I didn't fill the 2GB yet! Extremely convenient, I like that it closes securely.

after losing my sandisk flash drive, i decided to buy the less expensive kingston datatraveler and datatraveler II. i use a mac and formatting both improved the speed, however did not make them as fast as the sandisk.
