My big brother introduced me to pro's almost six years ago.!!they're the best no other headphones sounds like them the only problem is after a couple of months they always get a shorting in them.

Imbalanced Sound.......2007-12-21
The sound of these headphones has too little treble and too much bass. You feel like you are seated in the bass section of the orchestra and can hardly hear anything but the basses. I much prefer my Sony Fontopia MDR-EX51LP earbuds, which you can purchase from one of the alternative vendors for as little as $10.00. They have plenty of bass, but it is not overpowering.

Well I just recieved these and only have maybe a couple hours of use on them. My first impression was, well they are better than the Apple nano stockers. I will say, they are extremely comfortable on my above average size head, not to mention they sit nice on the ears. Don't have any gripe about that what so ever like some have. The slider volume is nice, but I won't use it much due to them breakin easily from other reviewers. So will use the iPod as much as possible. I did get these mostly for my MP3 iPod, but have yet to test them on the computer. Will see how they sound on that and give an updated report.
About the sound: They seem very crisp on most songs, but I do notice some distortion on certain Rock songs. I pretty much crank it due to me being in competitive SPL DB drag racing back in the day. I am sure a lot of you have no clue what that means, but to say my hearing is good would be a lie, lol! Lets just say I would sit in 155db plus vechichle constantly without hearing protection like an imbecile. About the bass, I Will say the bass is there in these and sounds decent, but I do find myself adjusting my EQ on my iPod with each album, which is no big deal, but kinda annoying to an extent.
Overall I give it a 3 for the price alone. I paid 19 bucks and now see they are even cheaper. So I would recommend them for anything under 20 smacks, otherwise I would spend a little more and get something else.
They don't compare to a set of AKG's I bought my dad a couple years ago for his computer, but probably because of the signal. Also my AKG's were over 100 smacks!
Amazon is an awesome place to do shopping though and I give them a 5 for ease of use and the shipping was well ahead of schedule as always. Great job Amazon!

Just bought these for computer, ipod, and guitar listening purposes. Sound is BAD. Apple's standard earbuds are infinately better. My sennheisers (although more expensive) are also infinately better.

Compared to my other pair of headphones (JVC noise canceling), these aren't quite as good. But they cost less than half (and I got them for free). They even have more bass than the JVCs. At this price, unless you need sound isolation, just get them.
