Philips SHS8200/37 Compact Foldable Behind-The-Head Headphone
No doubt about the quality of sound, comfortable and secure fit, compact footprint and silky soft feeling of ear pads all making quality and price a perfect balance for this product. Only downside for me was the length of the cord which for me at 6'4" should of been a half-foot longer and just a bit more robust for my general use.
In comparing this product to other high end headphones, $100.00 plus, there was little difference in sound in a public setting as compared to a completely noiseless one. The ability to be aware of environmental sounds in public was something that was next to impossible with noise cancelling headphones tested and did provide me with the go ahead signal to purchase.

decided to give these a try after reading positive reviews on hs820, which i didn't buy because of the weird color, at least on the monitor ... also, owned few things from Philips in the past and love this brand.
these headphones fit ears perfectly and are failry tight. i'm not an audiophil so my expectations might be not as high but sound is crisp and clear, i'm sure average user will find the sound terrific. Bass is right, and higher frequencies sound clear. i've owned them for about 3 weeks now, mostly use them in the gym - no complaints. plastic looks and feels quite durable and long lasting; although before ordering i was a bit concerned about the fabric - but it seems pretty durable too. i would defenitely recommend these.

I bought these Philips headphones to replace my aging and beat-up Sony StreetStyle headphones. The amount of different in the audio quality between the two is appearant from the moment you put them on. The bass is strong but not overdone like with lower prices Sony headphones - it's a much more full an balanced sound then Sony can do for the price. They also fold up, which is nice as well, and I like the white color (fits in with my iPod that I use these on). Even though I only planned on using these for portable use, I've been finding myself using them at home as well - they just sound so good. You can't get any better for the price.

Title says it all--very uncomfortable around the ears. Getting phones or glasses on or off often requires taking both off, then putting it back on, depending which is on top.

I never type reviews, but the SOUND on these $12 headphones is better than my expensive headphones. I bought them because my daughter has a headphone breaking habit, so I didn't want to spend a lot. I am SO impressed with the sound quality that I had to put in a review.

They are very comfortable for long periods of wear and exercise and they fold flat into a size smaller than your ipod. sound quality is very good as well.
