Good for backups, a little bulky but that's OK. I don't have any loss of data. Probably now have faster HD but it's fine for a home use.

Easy to use, big enough for the job. I bought this to make back ups of my hard drive, the software it comes with didnt work out for me, but I use Acronis anyway. It has an on off button right up front, USB plug, I turn it on, back up whatever, when it's done I turn it off to save from anybody moving it and possibly damaging the heads while it's on.
