Excellent when used at home.......2004-01-15

We bought this transmitter so we can have mp3's and web radio stations on our laptop play from the stereo. Before we had the laptop rigged with RCA cables into our stereo tuner which was very inconvenient. We researched and researched, even considered buying a whole new set up just to get our mp3's and web radio playing at a quality level. Well, the truth is, there isn't anything out there that fits our needs yet. This transmitter, for how cheap it is, worked on the first try and is great! After adjusting my iTunes equilizer the sound proved to be pretty good- better than I thought. I haven't used this in a car and don't plan to, but if you need a quick fix to get your computer music to your hi-fi, this is it! Don't spend ($) on that other expensive one.... this is all you need.

i recently bought this and it's not very good you can sometimes hear the audio but if you even touch the soundfeeder the radio will go fuzzy

bought this item as i have an old car that doesn't have a cd player or tape player. the item worked ok for around an hour, then whatever i tuned the radio into, it couldn't find the adaptor. Tried on a radio in my house, and still couldn't find anything. Changed batteries. Sadly there is no indicator to show device is working. I would suggest spending another $10 and getting the irock device.

I don't understand what this really does? My cassette player doesn't work but my radio does. I really want to play my cds will this work?

The SF 121 does what it's supposed to, just not very well. The range is very limitted. The sound quality is acceptable, but there is often significant interference. If you're willing to settle for that, fine, but there seem to be much better products out there.
