Does what I wanted.......2007-07-09
I wanted a thumb drive that would support no-fuss encrypted partitions, and that's just what I got. Allocate anything from 32MB to the whole stick as a partition, name it, give it a password and a virtual drive letter, and you're done.
I've used it on Windows XP and 2000 Pro without incident.
I deduct one star for some options I'd like to see in the GUI. For example, one can automatically explore the mounted drive when the password is given, or automatically ask, but there's no option to do nothing. There's also no "mount all favorite drives" option as in, for example, TrueCrypt.
Still, for carrying around highly personal information without worrying about what happens if I lose the stick, this is just what I wanted at a fair price.
CAUTION! .......2007-06-21
I have a document, encrypted with this product, and now I cannot decrypt it. I called Lexar, they said they'd email me software to fix the problem. How long with that take, I asked. Thirty minutes, I was told. It's 28 hours and counting now. I sent them an email, too. No response yet. Buy this product if you want to keep yourself from seeing your own documents! Good luck
Follow-up: Lexar emailed a link to new software which remedied the problem, about 36 hours after they said they would. The problem appears to have been the user's (i.e., my) deletion of what appeared to be an empty folder labeled "vaults" that comes on the device.

Security software does NOT autostart.......2007-03-04
If it doesn't bother to you browsing inside the jumpdrive and starting the security software manually before you can see your secured files, then it's OK. In fact, I think that no secure jumpdrive in the market can do that right now.

The IPIFHON3 provides direct connection for an iPod to most 2005-up factory Honda radios with the white 12-pin plug on the back. The iPod can be selected as a source using the factory radio?s front panel controls and they provide basic navigation functions including song up/down, FF/REW, and playlist selection. While connected the controls on the iPod are turned off so it may be stored away in the glove box. Compatible with all iPod models featuring the dock connector including the new iPod nano and 5G iPod video. Charges the iPod while connected. Note: if the vehicle is equipped with a factory satellite radio tuner it must be disconnected as the IPHON connects in place of it.

Had this installed and the unit was DOA. Constantly freezes IPOD cuts out on one side of speakers, going to get money back. I have to get it removed to be returned, A frustrating experience. Two-stars because in the brief times it functioned correctly it sounded decent, and controlled well from stock stereo.
