Laminate???.......2007-08-01

Arrived quickly - only one small damage, but I could turn it to the back. Assembly was detailed, but directions were adequate. SO disappointed it was laminate.... for some reason I thought it was wood veneer! The "color", & size were perfect for my needs...but it looks cheapie in a room with real wood coffee table/end table. Now I'm on a mission to find how I can use the hardware, metal, & interior drawer, yet reconstruct it with real wood. P.S. In looking for replacement - found this on Best Buy website for $89.00.... HUGE disappointment
