For the price, these headphones aren't too bad. I like them more than the more expensive Sony MDR-V250s.
I wish they were a bit more clear and Sony could have done a better job build quality wise. The plastic on top just feels and looks cheap. They're decently comfortable(given their price).
These just may have to do for a $20 pair of headphones to keep in my backpack at all times

My name is Dale Gibbs from Wauchula Florida, This Product was purchased by Me for my Sister along with a Sandisk 1Gig Mp3 Player. these headphones perform well, the main thing in looking for headphones is quality then the signal to noise ratio which should be 100db minimun or higher at least 40mm drivers, and freq response of 5,10,K to 25,30 K high
which makes all the diff in the world. I have personally owned Sony studio quality headphones at about 100.00 and these headphones im writing about is very good for your wallet, they sound good and clear.
if your into hi fi at home try the sony studio edition. and sony also makes a professional line as well, go to www.sonystyle.com and look for thier Premium Headphones but get out your wallet because everyone knows you get what you pay for. For the price, these headphones are great. I actually like the 11' cord because my desk is more that 6' from my stereo. My only gripe is the size. You will look like Princess Lala. No big deal since they are used at the desk only.

The speaker used in the SD72WV is the next generation of Atlas high performance cone loudspeakers, very similar to the preceding C-Series speakers. The similarity in the sonic qualities ensures that contractors and designers who have worked with the Atlas Sound C-Series in the past will know exactly what to expect when they use the SD72WV. Model SD72WV is a dual cone, 25 watt 8 205mm loudspeaker with a 10oz. 260g ceramic magnet. It includes a curvelinear, treated paper cone for lower harmonic distortion. The loudspeaker is also equipped with a full 1 diameter copper voice coil with a black anodized aluminum former for better power dissipation. Model SD72WV operates within a frequency response range of 45Hz-19kHz nominal with a sensitivity of 97dB and a dispersion angle of 105. Package includes factory installed 2570.7V line matching transformer with tap selections ranging from .25 to 5 watts. The SD72WV includes a factory installed CRS baffle with concealed loudspeaker mounting studs and includes screw mount hardware. The SD72WV baffle features standard mounting holes to accommodate the majority of Atlas Sound 8 tile bridges, mounting rings and enclosures. When specifying mounting hardware be advised that the dimensions of the SD72WV baffle match the Atlas Sound Model 62-8. The baffle finish is white powder coat epoxy. The baffle mounted volume control has a 5 watt audio rating and is factory wired to the voice coil. Units are shipped assembled, ready for installation.
