Great sounding and robust headphones.......2007-12-12
These headphones are the best bargain that u can get for a low price. The sound quality is excellent(which you can always expect from audio technica) and are also very comfortable..they are not at all flimsy( i have dumped them ino my bags during air travel but still u cannot find a scratch on them). The only poblem that i faced is the long cable which makes it quite messy at times..but considering the pros these headphones are a must buy!!!

I'm an art student who is either working in my studio which is unfortunately close to a woodshop or working on videos. For the first situation, these headphones do a phenomenal job at masking the sound of the woodshop. For the latter situation, I have been able to up the quality of the sound in my videos with these bad boys. They handle bass supremely while also keeping the high freqs clear. In addition to the great sound, they are comfortable, lightweight, and have this awesome durable cord. My dad is a recording artist and I told him about these. He decided to order a pair and ended up replacing his $200 dollar headphones with them. At this price I would recommend these headphones to anyone.

I'm not any kind of expert, but I bought these to wear on a trip to Europe to discourage chatty seatmates and I love them. They're remarkably comfortable, the sound quality seems great to me and they didn't cost an arm and a leg, what more could you want?

I've also been fortunate enought to acquire these spectacular phones. I've had mine for 3 years now and they still sound really fantastic. Unfortunately, I have been using them basically every single day anywhere from 2 to 10 hours a day, and have worn the earpads out. So now I have to decide if I will buy another set of M30's or throw down on a set of m40fs'. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with Audio Technica. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone looking for clean, strong, dynamic sounding headphones.

I already had sennheiser HD485 and 595, I bought these headphones for just being them closed which is useful for monitoring the recording however they don't block too much noise, I'm unsure about the build of these headphones whether they are durable for longer time. The sound quality can be compared to my HD485 with little pricey than ATH-M30. The HD485 offer better bass response, more comfort and much stylish than ATH-M30, anyway, I enjoy the sound quality of these cans and at least affordable great headphones can be found of their class.

i use these to litsen to music while on my computer. i am by no stretch of the imagination a connoisseur of sound equipment, so i can say that these cans make sound and effectively block sound from outside sources. the reasons they get 4 stars are as follows: they were really cheap and i can wear them with my glasses comfortably.

For the money you're paying, these are probably the best headphones in their price range. Audio Technica has made fine audio gear for years and this is no exception. They may not be Koss professional series headphones, but they are lightweight, sturdy, and well built for this type of product. The cord is nice and thick so it won't break easily. The leatherette band and earcups will provide hours of enjoyable listening. The high end is clear but not tinny. Bass is good without being overpowering. They sound great on quiet music passages. Too bulky for an iPod, but excellent for home listening!

i recently purchased this item from amozon after weeks of searching for an affordable but yet good pair of headphones and came across these and i must say they give a really good sound. also i wear glasses and they fit very comfortably.bieng a musician and often picky with sounds all mi can say is all in all this is a very good buy and i dont think you can go wrong with these

You just cannot beat the price on these cans. I use them for studio monitoring, mostly warn by the drummers who record with me. The headphones sound clean and clear, with a nice warm low end. Sure you can buy more expensive headphones, but these will definitely get the job done.

The flagship of the Epos range, the M22 is tri-wirable, thanks to three pairs of metal five-way binding posts. Providing separate feeds to each of the drive units through premium quality connectors offers worthwhile gains in stereo imagery, control and detail resolution.
The three driver complement is as follows:
Tweeter: 25mm aluminium dome tweeter with optimised neodymium magnet system and ferrofluid cooling
Mid Range: Magnetically shielded 150mm polymer cone with 32mm voice coil complete with injection moulded phase plug, utilising the Epos die cast aluminium chassis
Bass Driver: Magnetically shielded 150mm polymer cone with 32mm voice coil complete with weighted injection moulded dust cap, utilising the Epos die cast aluminium chassis
The cabinet itself is a low diffraction design, eliminating secondary sources of sound, improving stereo imaging and detail resolution. Extensive internal bracing reduces cabinet coloration. The cabinet is in two sections internallythe top section houses the tweeter and mid range and is similar in size to the Epos M12.2, whilst the lower section housing the bass unit goes right to the floor and ensures accurate low frequency performance.
Available in light cherry real wood veneer, this elegant loudspeaker evokes all the qualities you would expect from the very best of British design.
To complement the M22, Epos has designed an optional plinth. Not only does this provide greater stability but also gives the speaker an elegance which sees it as a fine piece of furniture as well as one of the best loudspeakers at its price point.
