The unit works as advertised. As some other reviewers have pointed out, there is some background noise, but this unit is no worse than the Belkin unit I had before it. It does turn on instantly when it is plugged into the power socket in my car, which is not that case with the Belkin.

It was quite difficult at first to get the component into the cigarette lighter but once I got it in and found the station on my car stereo, I heard my favourite song from my MP3 player blasting through my car speakers. I did not even have to try the other frequencies. I would definately recommend this item for persons who want their music while they drive.

This does not work as well as I had hoped. There are 4 choices of stations that it can broadcast to, and it never comes in clearly on any of them. I am constanly having to change the station on it and on the radio while driving as other real stations intrude on the signal. It just is not what I was hoping for.

I live in a city (Providence) and couldn't pick up the transmission without a good deal of static. I gave up on this transmitter and instead bought a Belkin tape thingie that inserts in my tape deck and connects to my MP3 player. The Belkin product works fine.

I recently bought a Zen Vison:M. I wanted to enjoy my music collection on my Car stereo so I needed a way to connect it to my audios system.
In a few weeks I did a lot of research and finally decided to go with this FM Transmitter because of the good reviews and the price. (Which was low enough to take the risk)
I have to admit that this FM Transmitter works better than I expected. I'm used to read bad reviews on FM Transmitters so I was skeptic about this one. I had to try it for my self.
Once I got it an quickly connected it to the Zen. I was amazed with the sound. Next day I was showing it off to my friends. So far is working like a charm after a month or so. I do get some interference passing by certain areas, but is very very minimal. Nothing that really interrupts the sound of the MP3 player.
With that said. I live and work in Chicago Suburbs so I probably do not get strong interference from radio stations as I would in the city.
You should give it a try in your area.

ezTrip - lousy fidelity.......2006-01-02
The ezTrip FM transmitter seemed to be just what I needed for the automobile. Unfortunately, the audio quality is distorted badly on my automobile FM radio. I tried this unit in other automobiles and on the bench using a portable radio, and all yielded the same poor audio results. Am I the only one having this problem? There must be something better out there, quality wise.

I put it to my Ipod Video,the fm transmition works but badly. Then this item supossed to charge my ipod video, but that never happen.

Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound.

Sharp LC13SH6U 13" LCD TV.......2007-03-24
We bought this TV because it had a small enough height to fit below kitchen cabinets. However it has performed better than other larger and more expensive sets that we have. In particular, when viewed at an angle, its picture is comparable to that of a vacuum tube, unusual in my experience for an LCD screen. For those who are thinking of a huge flat panel TV, buy this one instead and sit closer to it.

Great item. Picture great, sound great, connection choices great.
One problem: Being located about a foot away from an under-cabinet radio, the presence (shut off) of this TV produces an annoying ratteling sound in the radio. To eliminate this sound you must unplug this TV from the power source! Or, optionally, move it at least three feet away, which in our case is not practical.
