Great Bass for an Immersing feel.......2007-12-14
These headphones have a lot of base. This makes the music seem louder than it is and it is a lot fuller and more immersing. They don't have an active noise canceling system but do a good job passively.
The sound quality on these if you like bass is the best you can get for your money. If you're not a bass fan there are some better options out there. That being said the base does make the music sound better (i think) in genres other than Rap. At the $30 price I got these for I would recommend buying them even if your not a bass fan. They are comfortable and feel like a well made product. An enormous step up from my ipod brand earbuds.

Good Style, Mediocre Sound.......2007-09-04
These headphones and others made by the Skullcandy brand have a good sense of style, but my problem with these headphones was the sound quality. The built in "subwoofer" is a pretty fun feature, and it sounds pretty decent. The bad part is that the sound as a whole isn't very good, It seems like there is a lot of high to mid-high sound, and TONs of very low-end sound with the subwoofer on, but little or no true bass sound, which is very dissapointing. I could barely even hear the bassist on most rock songs I listened to, with or without the subwoofer on.
Another major complaint I have is that the subwoofer in the right earpiece started to make rattling noises after I had the headphones for about two weeks and I had to send them to the manufacturer.
Overall a decent headphone if you're not picky about sound quality, and you just want something that looks pretty cool. If you want something that delivers more in the sound department, get a pair of Sennheisers.
A Must Have.......2007-07-02
I normally don't write reviews, in fact this is the first one ive ever written on Amazon, but i felt obliged(sp?) to write one on this product because these are by far the best headphones i have owned and for the price. The Bass is ridiculous, every one that i has used them says they are amazing. I recently broke my first pair, and have to buy another one. After over a years and a half use and abuse, one ear west dead, alas it was a very sad sad day...
regaurdless, buy this, its amazing, I only have come somewhat negative comment and taht is on the new version of the skullcandy skullcrushers. They are sturdier and feel of a higher quality, but the one ones ones(the ones pictured here w/ no padding under the head strap), are looser fitting and dont excert pressure on ones skull like the new ones. I plan to buy an extra pair of the ones because i know they will stop making them, and want to have on on reserve in the event God forbid this new(used) pair breaks again

Alright... these are probably the best headphones I have heard for the amount of money they are asking. I mean obviously you can't go wrong with a $300 set of Bose but I am also very realistic. These headphones are loud, full of thumping bass, and let's be honest... they have skulls on them. I use them for my home studio and for my mp3 player (creative zen vision m 60) and there are phenomenal. Because they cling to your head so tightly (not uncomfortably though) they block out alot of the surrounding sounds and when they are on good luck trying to hear even yourself. I recomend these headphones for anyone who enjoys good quality sound for their music. I mostly listen to Metal (Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Haste The Day, All Shall Perish) and there are very brutal headphones. BUY THEM NOW!!

These headphones are awsome, I had one pair already, and yes they did break, but the company replaced them for me. I got a second pair because everyone wanted to wear mine when we were playing games.

This is my second purchase of same headphone, I gifted the first to my close relative. This head phone really is an asset. It allows you to enjoy the richness of bass notes. Being a Bass Guitar player, its subwoofer feature that allows me to listen to bass notes in the songs I listen to and play guitar with, with great clarity, depth and richness,
Including the notes in the songs that I did not hear in other head phones. Mid and High sensitivity is Ok, I think it is just above avarage, which is as good as low end Senheiser headphone (my other head phone).
Its design is little intricate and is going to be bit tight if you have
a big head!

A Very Light Portable Projector.......2007-01-03
This is a very light portable projector that has worked well. It projects a bright image. The only problem is that the projector is easy to nudge out of place once all the computer cables are hooked to it. So you have to be careful to place the power cord and other cords where they will not be disturbed. Tripping over the cord could easily throw the projector against the wall or on the floot. However, for travelers, this is the perfect projector.
