The MDR-W20G headphones fit inside the ear for jostle-free listening. Created for active listeners, these headphones are better held in place with the wide, over-the-head headband. They are extremely lightweight and will provide hours of comfortable listening. These headphones are also water-resistant, taking away an easy excuse for many runners, walkers and bikers. Sony uses 16 mm driver units in these headphones. While lightweight and small enough to fit inside the ear, they also deliver a good bass sound and wide frequency range (down to 10 Hz.) Neodymium magnets give the headphones maximum energy at a minimal size and weight. The open-air design allows for ambient noise to enter the ear, a safe feature for exercisers as you will hear car horns, passing bikers and dog barks. This was the headphone model that replaced the original equipment headphone for my ancient Sony Walkman (SRF-M73) and its predecessor. It has been on two dog walks per day in the rain, heat(sweat!!!), dropped, wires caught on tree limbs, and other thorough torture. Very robust headphones for sport use. Good frequency response. In-ear over-the-head design means you can use them while mowing the yard. About the only way I ever break them is to drop the Walkman enough times that the wires in the cord are torn, though this requires *A LOT* of drops.
Only complaint: cord is about six inches too short. If you have really DEEP pockets in your sportswear, the cord is *just barely* too short to put your Walkman (iPod, etc.) in your pocket.

Have it for 8 months. Ultra durable, flexible, sounds good. HAve run with it in the rain, sweat resistant (wont stop playing due to ear sweat).
However the sound is very weak, and does not sound good with my ipod... Sounds good with my high power PC audio but not with
portable devices.. But its ultra durable and good looking

These are light and somewhat comfortable. As other reviewers have said they have VERY little bass. Lots of highs though, almost tinny sounding. If they performed better on the lows I'd rate them higher.

I got a pair of these, for more at Circuit City, and my wife finds them very suitable for her early morning work outs. Only problem is that the cord is not very long - only about 3 feet.

I was kind of disappointed with this skin. I did not recieve a screen protector, and there is an annoying layer of skin covering the click wheel (this is not shown in the pictures). It attracts dust, but many skins do. I am giving it 3 stars because it does its job.

Best bang for the buck.......2007-12-22
Like many others, I spent more than a few hours researching tv's before purchasing. What stuck me is that the technology still has a ways to go before being anywhere near perfect, so why go out and spend nearly 3K on a top of the line plasma or LCD, when they will most certainly be overshadowed by newer and better products in the very near future. With that said, this tv delivers state of the art picture quality and features at around $1400, so when all the next generation tv's hit the market, I won't feel so bad giving it the boot.

One of my biggest concerns about purchasing a new hdtv was how the
companies customer service (internet and phone) would handle questions and provide information if needed.
Sony easily beat out Panasonic and Samsung.

Like most people, I researched TV's to death. I finally decided on a DLP because of supposedly better motion, and price. I couldn't be happier with the picture on this TV.
The only complaints I have aren't exactly related to the TV, but are things I'd like to see a solution to. For example, my wife and I like to use the close captioning sometimes (when the character mumble!), and there's a conveniently placed CC button right on the remote! But alas - somehow it doesn't work when the TV is set up through my cable box (I have to use the cable box's CC which is a 4 button process). And I'm back to 3 remotes again (TV,Cable and DVD). The TV has a nice universal remote - but it doesn't handle all the functions of the cable remote (guide, DVR list).
But did I mention I LOVE the picture???

I originally went from a Vizio 42" plasma to a Sony Bravia 40". Huge difference. I eventually took the 40" back and got a refund (it cost me $1790 w/ tax) because it was too small. After seeing the other reviews and determining this TV would fit on my shelf, I got it for $1499 from Amazon (shipping / tax included). Saved $$$ and the picture is UNREAL! Much sharper / crisp compared to the 40" Bravia LCD. Only gripe is it takes about 20 seconds longer for it to turn on as opposed to a regular LCD. Plenty of HDMI, VGA, S-video, and component connections to accomodate just about anything.
I don't think you'll find another television at this size, this price, and with such a superior picture. I highly recommend the Sony Bravia SXRD for anyone interested in getting the new rear projection LCD HDTV.

the kds50A3000 is all i expected. the shipping and delivery was prompt and the service was excellent. unpacked and put in place. as advertised, standard tv is acceptable with the bravia engine and better than most hd sets i've seen. the hd picture is clear with full-bodied color that sony delivers. motion is smooth. the set seems to run pretty cool within a slightly restricted cabinet space. menus are clear and outputs/inputs are conveniently placed with just a small movement of the set.
all in all, there are a lot of nice sets but i'm totally satisfied with my selection.
