WAIT! Buy the Speck with armband instead.......2006-08-10
I got this skin with the armband for $24. I haven't had a chance to use the armband yet, so I can't speak for that, but I can only assume it's a better deal to get both for the same price.
As for the Skin itself, I haven't been bumping it around yet, either, but I don't think it compares favorably to my Contour Design Showcase ($22). I spent a lot of time deliberating over cases, and the Showcase seems much sturdier, or at least more substantial. The front (which covers, blessedly, the screen) is rigid plastic, rather than the Skin's gel plastic, and the sides are grippy and hard. I feel more confident about it protecting my iPod than I do about the Skin; I only plan on using the Speck Skin with the armband, and will stick to the Showcase otherwise.
Avoid this product if you want real protection.......2005-10-05
I purchased the Speck skin for my mother's brand new 4G iPod. I have one just like it, (by a different manufacturer) but it has a clear plastic membrane to cover the iPod's screen and prevent scratching. This brand, does NOT have a screen protector, rendering this pricey little number useless for the average consumer.
If you want screen protection, DO NOT BUY this product, unless you want your scratched within hours. Unfortunately due to the way this is packaged, and marketed, this deficiency is not apparent to the average consumer. If you want a good case, make sure it protects the most sensitive parts of your iPod: THE OUTSIDE. Avoid cheap knockoffs like this brand, which advertise protection but provide none.

The material is really good, but the design is awful, it does not take care of all sides of the IPod and it soon will break because of its poor design. It was shipped very fast.

This skin is easy to put on and does it's job. I am discovering that the clear skin does start to look dingy after a while, althought I haven't tried cleaning it. I also don't like that I have to flip up the bottom flap to plug it in because I use it with a car charger a lot and the flap gets in the way of the touch wheel; and there is no screen protection with this skin.

Protects my iPod 20g Color 4g very well. If you use a dock it has a convenient lower section to flip for good connection. Top is open as well as click wheel providing access. As there is no clip or loop function you'll be requiring an additional carrier. Enjoy!

OK so I didn't buy this brand but...........2005-01-19
I went to my local Apple store in the mall and bought the iSkin (there is a website...bet you can't guess what it is. ;-)) that is made by EVO2. This product works great and it comes with its own screen protector. So you won't have to Mcguyver one out of a PDA screen protector. It also comes with a belt clip that is a total waste of time. I am very happy that my iPod is well protected with this rubbery iCondom!!
Excellent Protection while Preserving iPod's Good Looks.......2004-08-20
I bought this to protect my 2nd Generation 15 Gig iPod. As I quickly found out, the iPod scratches in slight breezes. This skin is just what it says: Frosted clear. It looks good on the iPod and protects every surface except the buttons and the screen. The screen needs protection more than any other part of the iPod. I solved this problem by purchasing the Belkin ClearScreen Overlays for Toshiba PDAs ($9.49), and cutting one in half. It fits perfectly over the screen and then I slipped the skin over the whole unit. The result is near 100% protection with minimal loss of function. The screen protector is invisible, and the skin looks pretty good. The buttons are slightly harder to access, but that was expected. With the skin on, it is only slightly harder to use the Belkin FM transmitter, but it does work. Docking is not much trouble either. This skin is rubberized and does not slide on leather car seats or airplane trays. I highly recommend this product combined with the screen protector to save your valuable iPod investment.

Previous DLP HDTVs have used an Arc lamp and color wheel cobination as the source fo light and color for the DLP image. I purchased this TV in April of 2007 and it was faulty from the start. The screen kept flickering pink every once in a while, until about 2 weeks ago the screen went dark. No picture, no color, just sound... whatever happened to TVs lasting like 15-20 years like the ones my parents used to own.
I called Samsung and they sent a request to their crappy middlemen service company. These idiot service people don't know anything about fixing TVs and they take their sweet time ordering parts from Samsung. It's been over a week and it could take another 2 more weeks.
I find this UNACCEPTABLE. Samsung's TVs are garbage and so is their service.
Amazing HDTV.......2007-10-25
This set has an incredibly sharp picture and excellent color. It dislays HD DVDs and Hi def satellite pictures with better clarity than I have ever seen (we also have a 1080p lcd, a 1080i crt projector, and a 720p plasma set) and it is incredible to think there are no bulbs to replace, no spinning color wheel, and no plasma burn in to worry about. My son notices a brief shimmering effect at times, but I have never seen it and the picture has always looked excellent to me. I will probably buy another one to replace the plasma, which looks inferior by comparison.
Quality TV at great price.......2007-09-18
have been using this TV for about 3 months now....Overall is excellent Tv with great colors, easy to hook up and great features (PIP in particular). Only issue is that the blacks are not as pure as expected. Have read in other reviews that by fiddling with the settings you can adjust this, but just haven't had the time yet.
All being said though, I couldn't find another TV with the size and features at the same price!!!!
An excellent Tv at a good price .......2007-09-17
I bought the tv for 1300 bucks and it is worth every penny. It has been flawwless so far and the audio is good too. The asthetics of the tv is also good to go with the performance. The only issue I had is having to get the color settings of the Tv . I like the picture setting when in movie mode and all the others seem to be off track and is not that great. But once u get the setting right then it is just a very good tv. I would definitely rate my buy as 5 on 5 and I do recommend it.
