i bought this product by paying around $37/- for it and within 40 days the microphone stoped working.....this is not the first time that this was hapening...if u chk reviews u can find that most ppl r complaining about the microphone not working...n now since it has exceeded 30 days of my purchase amazon cant help me....i am stuck up nowhere now...i lost my $37/- i guess...

These headphones had a nice fit over the ear and the sound was good - better than most for the price. The cord was long enough and they looked like they would be a little more durable than some of the other headphones I have purchased in the past.
I knocked off one star because the microphone did not work and I had to return it.
I knocked off another star because there was not a volume control. This means you need to set/adjust the volume from your applications - which can be a real bother.
POOR CHOICE OF HEADSET.......2007-05-16
The 1st pair came with a defective microphone. The second pair has a functional microphone but it is not loud enough. Microphone is boosted to max and I still get complaints from the online gaming community. I contacted KOSS technical support twice and never had a reply. In summation; bad microphone and no tech support.
Cheap and Great.......2007-03-09
I thik this headset is relatively cheap (especially in some comparisons) and it sounds exremely well (as good as my 100 dollar koss pair - no mic on those though)
The mic is abit different on this, it doesnt seem to pic up yer voice well if it gets moved just a little bit away from yer mouth, but i didnt find it to be a big problem for me.
overall, great product, koss will keep me for headsets for sure

Good TV with bad service.......2007-05-26
We bought this TV here on Amazon on 1/4/07. On Feb. 13th we began to get intermittent marbling in the picture. We called for service immediately and were referred to a local repair company. They came to our home on March 3rd. After looking at it for about a minute the repairman said it would have to go into the shop. Between that day March 3rd and today May 25th we've been without a TV. Very early on in this long process the repair people said the TV was defective and needed to be replaced. The "Level 2" service people insisted that EVERY PIECE of the TV had to be replaced before they could say that it was defective. So after 3 months, dozens of calls to the repair shop, PHILIPS, IBM and half the free world and their mother-in-law, it was finally concluded that yes indeed the TV is unrepairable and needed to be replaced. The replacement arrived this morning and it looks very good. I just hope it lasts longer than the last one. BTW, the repairman said he has similiar probelms with ALL brands of plamas. That when they work, they work and when they don't nobody can figure out why. He suggested that if we were to do it again, to stick to the LCD. So I'm passing that advice on here.

I'm not into gimmicks but I'm sold on the "Ambilight" feature. It somehow makes the viewing experience better (and it's not something that's as evident when viewing in a store showroom where the TV is on a shelf or standing far from a wall). I don't like the remote which is clunky, doesn't seem to have very good range and is poorly implemented (for example: the "last channel" button is all the way to the bottom right making it imposssible to hold this heavy remote comfortably with one hand and use this button) and the on screen menu system is too small and dull making it difficult to see at times. Despite all of this the TV has a great picture quality when viewing DVD's and looks very good with TV sources.
Horrilbe Manufacturer Support.......2007-04-16
I purchased the TV in early November, by mid December two of the circuit boards had fried causing blue lines to blend into the picture. Philips sent an authorized repair center to pick up the damaged unit and assess the situation. One of the circuit boards was sent that week but the second repair product is on back order. Neither the customer service or parts department could give me an ETA on when the board would be sent to the ARC. I am still making monthly payments on a television I have been without for several weeks now. And the authorization for a replacement television won't be processed until the standard turnaround time of 20 days has passed. As a long time Philips customer I am disappointed and upset with a total lack of support.
Burn-In.......2007-03-16
My girlfriend bought one of these at Best Buy and she's taking it back. It's got burn-in with a distracting vertical line about 4" in from either side.

I have CableVision.
I agree with Brenda,something is wrong with the sound. When you change the (regular non-HD)channels, it takes about 10 seconds for the sound to come on. HD channes are aok. I guess I have to purchase a sound system or something. I also agree that "Image clarity is somwhat lacking in clarity and there is more image distortion" than I had expected too. Color is good but the sound system quality is not good. Ambilight is terrific!
