Not worth the price and flimsy.......2007-12-08
This product isn't close to being worth the price. While mine still do work after six months of use, the headset has broken so many times I can't count them. It has been super glued, Duct Taped, trimmed and still barely hangs together. The bonicle is irritatingly in its lack of ability to broadcast stereo. You twist and turn it as one ear then the other produces sound. Ultimately with more Duct Tape and twisting you may get enough torque to cause both sides to produce sound. Then when you have to change batteries in 4-5 hours you start the hunt all over again.
Luckily for me, I invested in a 15 minute battery charger and rechargeable batteries since both the earphones and bonicle require 2 AAA batteries each and will cost you a fortune if you use it too often unless you use rechargeables.
The headset itself is uncomfortable because of the pressure it puts on your ears though they do block out external sounds pretty good.
If I were to design these earphones I would pad the top of the structure to prevent irritation from pressure on the top of the head. Instead I have to wear a hat to ease the irritation instead. I would have also gone with AA batteries instead of AAA's to extend the life between replacement or recharge, The amount of weight difference would have been minimal and there is plenty of room in the right earphone to fit AA's. The increase in size of the bonicle would also have been minimal as well.
All in all, I prefer my old RCA wireless headphones since they are more comfortable and have a built in recharger. The only problem with them were they are not Bluetooth so they picked up too much interference.

I must have gotten a good pair, b/c mine work very well! Sorry to hear from the others who have had so many problems.
I have two Macally headsets... one for use with the 1st Gen iPod Nano (love them!) and these Bluetooth ones.
NOTE WELL: The Macally Bluetooth transmitter has a little nub on the bottom to lock into place on your ipod. If you are only getting 1 channel, try clipping off that 2mm plastic nub!
I use these to listen to hours of podcasts, Santana, Rush, Greg Mayo, Journey and Jazz. I have about 35 GB of (purchased!) music on my laptop so I consider myself a pretty avid music enthusiast. Are these the greatest sounding headphones in the world? No, but it's super-convenient to not have to drag a cable around, and it's convenient to be able to take a few steps away from my computer without having to remove the headphones.
The only downside I've faced to these headphones is that the range is only good for about 12-25 feet. After that I start to get static, unlike some other Bluetooth Headsets which are solid to about 25 or even 30 feet.

I used these headphones only a few times. Suddenly the sound became extremely choppy. I thought maybe it just needed new batteries. I replaced all the batteries and the problem continued. Then I tried to contact the technical support phone number listed on the package only to find that both numbers are disconnected. I was very careful with my new toy so this had nothing to do with any abuse. So for around $95 dollars I bought total garbage. I owned these less than 6 weeks with minimal use before they stopped working.

it's broken 1 and half month ago, without any human destruction, I called the macally company to seek for ways to fix it myself, apparently it wasn't working!
Light, comfortable, good sound ... but poor quality!.......2006-11-15
I decided to try these after getting used to the freedom offered by wireless headphones. The other pair I own (another brand) work great but aren't that comfortable. I really prefer this style.
Unfortunately, the quality is quite poor. The first pair I bought I had to return to the store immediately, because only one audio channel was functioning. The second pair worked great, and I was quite delighted with them. They are very comfortable and the sound quality is great. I was quite pleased.
Unfortunately, a week later, they simply stopped working. It appears to be the "sync" issue others are reporting. I have to ship them back to Macally for service and I don't know how long the replacement will last ... hopefully third time is a charm.
On the positive side, so far their support has been decent to deal with (I went the email route, haven't tried the phone).
