Great for this price range.......2007-06-15
I've had a pair of these for about a year. I bought them for listening to my iPod while on the train to work. They fold up nicely, they're sturdy, and the carrying case is actually useful. The sound quality is good -- much better than the buds that came with my iPod. (I've heard nicer headphone sound, but not from headphones in this price range.) I find them very comfortable -- they fit over my ears, rather than on them, and they stay on my head while running for the train. They also have a volume control on the cord, which is nice because then I don't have to get my iPod out of it's case to tweak the volume.
The noise reduction is so-so -- it works well on low-frequency rumble, but doesn't do very much for higher-frequency background noise. And it can occasionally hiss a little, though I've never had them actually squeal.

Solid. Inexpensive........2006-04-18
I've used these on four 14-hour flights halfway around the world, and what I can say about them is that they work. I have no idea what problem the previous reviewer had with them, because I've used mine now for about a hundred hours over the year or so I've owned them and they do what they need to do: they dramatically cut the noise from airplanes and other persistent sound.
However... They are just not as comfortable as more expensive ones. I now have a set of the Bose headphones (only six times more expensive than these!!) and they're pretty impressive. Having said that, these are good for $50, and if you're going to use them for stretches shorter than 14 hours they're fine. (I found them comfortable in two- or three-hour stretches.)
So, in sum: worth $50. But the more expensive ones are better. But these work pretty good.

These headphone are great travel companions. My iPod sounds wonderful through them and the noise cancellation feature really quiets down airplane noise, even when sitting on the wing. I've had mine since April and 7 months later am as happy with these headphones as the day I bought them. Still working off the same pair of AAA batteries, too!
Nice and compact, the leatherette carrying case can also hold your iPOD.

I'm Having an Affair With My TV..........2007-08-30
I've owned the Samsung 46" DLP slim for very close to a year now and all I can say is, this is the best TV I've ever owned. The color and clarity are brilliant for HD content and even regular programming looks awesome.
My favorite feature other than the picture is that it's so light! My husband and I almost threw it in the air the first time we picked it up because we weren't expecting it to weigh so little.
I love the location of the component jacks. They're located almost on the side of the unit so that plugging in cables are extremely easy and the least amount of movement is needed of the TV itself. This is important to me as we own several gaming consoles and componants that are constantly being changed out. Don't worry, this has PLENTY of places to plug in components. We happen to be abnormal and have much more then the average Joe.
The recommended viewing distance of a 42" to 46" DLP is between 10 and 14 feet. If you're seeing alot of pixelation with this TV, chances are that you're sitting too close to your screen. My current living room is fairly modest so depending on where I sit, I see a bit of pixelation but if I stand at the recommended distance I see virtually none.
A FINE HDTV FOR THE PRICE.......2007-05-08
tHE BOX IS STILYSH, SLIM AND LIGHT WEIGHT. I had the opportunity to compare this DLP HDTV IMAGE to Sony Bravia and Sharp LCD, and the Samsung's picture quality in 720 p comes on top. ALSO THIS SET DOES A DECENT JOB IN 480I STANDARD BROADCASTING. I'TS ONLY TWO WEAKNESS ARE THE VIEW ANGLE WHICH IS VERY POOR ESPECIALLY THE VERTICAL VIEW ANGLE AND THE SILK SCREEN EFFECT, SPECIALLY WITH WHITE IMAGES. THE XBOX 360 LOOK AWESOME IN HIGH DEFINITION, VERY SHARP AND NO DELAY AT ALL.
Best Picture especially after calibration!.......2007-04-28
I have had this television now for 2 months, and am absolutely blown away by the picture. I have a Panasonic LCD HDTV, a Sony CRT HDTV, and this TV is by far the best of them. I had the set professionaly calibrated by Avical and the difference from user settings is phenomenal. Calibration is the way to go for serious viewing. Lost, 24, and even SD broadcasts are now eye-popping. I thought the set was great before calibration, but after.... my eyes could not believe it. Friends that see the picture are blown away! Great set, and it can be found for about a grand.

We have owned this TV for about 6 months.
It's great. Really great.
The only times it has a little trouble is when a close up of football players is shown while they are running off the field. It pixilates a little bit at that point.
Otherwise a very good picture.
This product was shipped to us in a very good manner and was unblemished.

Purchased this DLP about 3 months ago & was immediately floored by the incredible PQ.
Naturally it really shines when watching HD programming but even the standard channels were very watchable.
If you have the Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on, you'll be amazed at how great these movies look in 720p HD. Simply awesome picture quality.
For the amazing price, you really can't go wrong with DLP technology. Considering the side of the screen, you're really getting a lot of bang for your buck here.
I'd suggest going in-store and checking out this DLP if you're not already convinced by others who have praised the technology.
You won't be disappointed.
