These are very comfortable earbuds and have adequate sound. There major plus is their fit and comfort. If you are looking for really high quality sound, you often get what you pay for, so don't look at headphones in this price range. These are a "sound" value.
Excellent Sound and Comfort.......2007-11-10
My old Sony MDR-EX71SLA earphones finally quit on me, prompting me to buy something new. I chose the Panasonic RP-HJE300 based on the good customer reviews in Amazon.com, and the very attractive price. I'm very glad I did. First, these are the most comfortable earphones I've ever used. The offset design together with the lightweight (Y-shaped) cord make them so comfortable that I literally can't feel them in there. I like to listen to my IPod as I drift off to sleep, so I keep these earphones in all night. When I wake up, I still can't feel them in my ears. That's comfort! Second, the sound quality is wonderful. I listen mostly to country, bluegrass, blues, oldies, and showtunes. These little Panasonics are a noticeable improvement in sound quality over my old Sony earphones (and they were darn good). Third, the low price is unbelievable. I got them from one of the Amazon.com third-party vendors for under $20 including shipping! I ordered them on-line on Monday, and they arrived on Thursday, with no premium shipping charges. Needless to say, I was thrilled.

The title pretty much speaks for itself. These earbuds are surprisingly good!
I already own the Sennheiser PX 100 Collapsible Headphones (FANTASTIC for on-the-ear headphones, providing excellent dynamic range and superb comfort) and use those for travelling. However, I was using a set of Sony MDR-E828LP Fontopia Earbuds with Winding Case for jogging and working out and they left something to be desired. The sound is good, but the fit (on me) is only so-so and they have a tendency to pop out when I'm running. I started searching for a replacement for the Sony earbuds.
I came upon these while searching Amazon. Good reviews, good price, and the being an in-ear style sealed the deal.
The package comes with three sizes of pads and a carrying case, which is a nice touch. I found the medium ones that came already attached worked fine for my ears. The build quality seems quite good.
First, the sound quality of these is great. I listened to a variety of jazz, classical, rock, pop, etc. and these did a good job of reproducing most of the dynamics and nuances.
Second, these are very comfortable for in-ear buds, without feeling intrusive. I've tried the expensive Shure earbuds, which sound excellent, but I found them uncomfortable after a while. These Panasonic earbuds feel good even after extended periods of wear. They do not block outside noise as well as some other models, but personally I don't want my earbuds to completely isolate me from the world.
Overall, if you decide to buy these, you'll get great fitting and sounding earbuds at a great value!
A real hidded gem.......2007-10-15
I keep trying to find earphones that sound better than these. After all, they were only $30. I bought Sonys, Shure, Creative, and just recently the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro ($150), all hoping to get more if I spent more. None of these beat my little Panasonics. They have a rich, strong sound and great isolation. And due to the asymmetrical contoured buds, they are by far the most comfortable and secure earphones I've tried. (and they fit my iPhone) I LOVE these earbuds!

The sound is fine for the small price that these things sport. The ear buds are comfortable and come in 3 sizes. If you're looking for professional quality, look elsewhere. If you are looking for cheap, comfortable, and otherwise descent, then these are for you.

I've been searching a long time for decent headphones to replace the stock ones that came with my ipod Nano 2G. These are it. They fit comfortably and form a tight seal to stay seated in my ears and block out almost all external noise. The cord is the Y-type variety (equal lengths rather than 1 short wire & 1 long wire), and even has the small adjustable guide to prevent the wires from tangling. The plug is narrow like the Apple earbuds so they fit just about flush on my Nano.
The sound is blissful, with tight bass and clear highs. I bought a pair of Shure E2c's at the same time as these, and the Shures are going back. These have more bass and volume, and are so much easier to put on than the Shures (which require that you wrap the wires above and over your ears). To be fair, I listen mostly to electronica/dance/trance, so maybe the Shures would fare better on more detailed music.
Bottom line: I am in love with these headphones, and think they are a steal for the money. Don't bother with the Sonys, JBuds, I've tried them all and there's no comparison.
An Excellent Value.......2007-07-04
I picked these up today on a whim while in Manhattan. They sound good and are really comfortable. They don't isolate much. Included in the package are 3 sizes of tips and a handy pouch - a nice bonus with cheap earphones.
At about $20 these are an excellent value.

Pretty good for the ridiculously low price..........2007-12-01
Reading reviews is a good way to make an educated purchase but I think you should take them with a grain of salt. I'm not an audiophile so I'm not interested in the opinion of some audiophile who trashes earbuds left and right because only the best of the best will do. Also bear in mind that some of the earbuds reviews are written by those who like excessive bass, the kind that vibrates the licence plate on one's car.
This is my third pair of earbuds, after Sony MDR-EX51 and Senheiser CX300. Sony's rubber cord is a joke and as so many other owners have already pointed out, it simply doesn't last. Senheiser had great tight bass but kept popping out of my ears. One day, I stepped on them and killed the left one.
This particular pair does a much much better job in staying in the ear than the two previous pairs. People who already own earbuds know it's crucial that you need tight fit in order to get bass out of any pair of earbuds. So, what good is a great sounding pair of earbuds if they don't stay in place?
These sound good overall. I like the fact that the trebles are under control and there's plenty of bass when coupled with my IAudio MP3 player. The only tiny complaint I have is that bass sometimes get a little tiring after extended play. I hope this helps...
Not bad for the price.......2007-07-31
I have the Ipod Nano, and for me, the stock earbuds were a problem at the gym, they kept shifting and I would lose all of my volume. I picked up a pair of these, problem solved, they don't move at all. The sound is good, the bass seems a little weak, but what do you expect for this price, and such a small package.
Overall, I like them and would purchase them again.

Great TV!.......2007-12-04
This TV is amazing! The first one I got had some issues with fine detail (particularly with single-pixel-wide sharp contrast). After some investigating I determined the set was messed up and I exchanged for a new one. The problem is gone... It looks great!
I am particularly impressed with the power consumption and energy saving features that come with this TV. Make sure to adjust the "energy saving mode," if you are an energy-miser like myself. I hooked the set up to a Watt-meter and got the following results:
ON (displaying a basketball game):
("energy saving mode" @ max): 263W
("energy saving mode" @ half): 180W
("energy saving mode" @ min): 119W
OFF:
(quick on) 17W
(norm on) 0W (resolution of meter does not show fractional Watts - so it is probably between 0W and 1W)
The energy story is great, but I got the TV for the picture - which looks amazing! Halo 3 @ 1080p - looks fantastic. Watching Monday Night Football in HD makes me wonder how people watch sports in SD anymore. I'd put this JVC HDTV up against a Samsung or any other brand any day.
My only complaint (other than having to return the first one) is that there is no DVI input - Hardly a problem considering it has 2 HDMI inputs. I am very happy with it.
