Nice sound but didn't last .......2006-10-28
Really wanted a lanyard headphone for my mp3 player. Neck strap and earbuds in one piece and less wires. This product is exactly what I needed. Lightweight and the sound quality was just fine. The silicone earbuds come in three sizes so the bud was simple to get the correct fit. Though it was made for another brand of mp3 player, attaching the lanyard to my iriver mp3 player was simple using the RING. Would have rated this product 4 stars.
Unfortunately, I got only 2 weeks of listening from it! Now the earbuds crackle so badly and cut in and out so I will have to dump the ones I have. The wire that connects to the mp3 is finicky and must be at just the right angle. If it gets bumped, no sound.
If you get this product, use a pipe cleaner or electrical tape or some other method to hold the wire in a fixed position from day one so there would be no "wear" on the wire. Wish I had.
Excellent sound, bad wires........2006-09-06
I really liked this product when I researched it. The sound was incredible for the price, however using them at the gym, and power walking revealed problems. My head sweats, this may be the reason why I lost my left channel, but not all the way. If I jiggle the wires the channel will play a bit. Also, its hard to distinguish the left, and the right because its etched into the silver part of the buds. In order to talk in the gym I have to take them out of my ears, so it was a problem. I could no longer use them because the left channel stopped working all together. I thought wow if its me sweating how come the right channel did not go out? So I bought another pair locally. Two weeks later the same thing occured. The Rivets have a lifetime warrenty, but whats the point. I will send them to be fixed, but not rely on them as my primary earbuds. The company should consider making the earbuds without a lanyard so people have a choice, also making the product sweat resistant. When I researched earbuds in general I only found one company that offered sweat resistant buds, Sennheiser they are really green, and look weird. I think all buds should be sweat resistant since it sets in ones ears, Hello! I'm really surprised how little is out there for very active people.

A Great Product For It's Price.......2007-11-05
I took 30 dollars to the nearest COMP USA in hopes of finding a better pear of headphones than the crappy ones that came with my Zen V Plus. I pick out the Rivets. I had a sort of intention of finding some cheat noise cancelling headphones, and these are perfect. The buds fit comfortably in your ear, and the included three sizes will fit most. The one thing I did disagree with is the nylon like material the cord was made out of. I think these are great for sombody wanting to pick a up a decent pair of noise cancellers. For a great pair check out the Shure e4 c's.

this is the worst earphones ever. nothing about it is comfortable or affordable because this is extremely cheap! the cord feels like shoe lace and the earphones look ugly and made of plastic. the three gel sizes do not let you hear the music well--even when you take them off, the sound quality sucks! don't believe me, buy it for yourself. i can't even sell them.

Picture quality is ok, nothing spectacular. DVD features and usability is pretty substandard; less features than a fischer price toy. The real let-down with this lcd is the audio. The speakers are just horrendous. The sound quality is poor, and doesnt carry very well. What made me laugh at this unit was the included digital audio out. 15" LCD...with a digital audio out and no rca stereo jacks. There is a headpone minijack, although its cheap and easily introduces static into whatever it is feeding. All in all, a pretty poorly designed and executed product. When you look at the price in relation to the features, and add to this the poor audio and average video performance...it isnt any wonder why there are no Toshiba products in my home. Cheap hardware for an exorberant price.
