Okay for the price and availability.......2005-02-12

Initially i was looking for a pair of headphones that have decent sound quality, a short, portable cord, and also one that's over-ear (headphones that match these criteria are extremely rare (the cord), which is kind of infuriating since i would choose over-ear headphones as opposed to pieces of junk earbuds or portable headphones). Since i hate dealing with the giant jumble of cords above my ipod of most circum-aural headphones with decent sound quality, i chose to check these out.

Cons: The sound quality is mediocre and does not match up with the grados, sennheisers, or sonys that are circum-aural. Also, other people can easily hear what you're listening to.. which means you cant use it in the library or nething. I know it's for dj's and all but im just saying.. but if it really was for dj's, the bass on this isnt all that great. It also feels really weak, which i dont mind much unless it breaks.

Pros: The portability is awesome cuz it folds up into a little bag. I'm surprised they included the bag for a 15 dollar product.. which is another pro (it's cheap in price). The short cord of course, which doesnt beg to be wrapped up and dangled off the ipod.

It's a good product for the price.. which is the only reason why i cant complain in the star rating. I dunno.. i guess i anticipated too much cuz i was caught up with a pair of headphones that are over-ear and had a short cord. The headphone market should really consider the demand for short-corded circum-aurul headphones with decent sound. JUST SHORTEN THE CORD LENGTH.
