Terrible TV!.......2007-08-27
This was the first HDTV I ever bought. Within the first month of purchasing the TV, the TV began to have yellow vertical lines running the entire length of the TV. I contacted Magnavox, via telephone, and after argueing with customer service they agreed to ship me another TV. I hated the TV because:
1. no matter what channel you are watching, the picture was too dark
2. I had to constantly adjust the contract and tint settings depending on the channel you had it on
I had this TV for only 4 months and sold it in my local newspaper for only half of what I paid for it. Take my advise and DON"T BUY THIS TV. YOU WILL REGRET IT! Shortly after selling this TV, I purchased a Vizio, 20 inch LCD HDTV. It's a great TV and priced very reasonably. I would highly recommend it over the Magnavox.
EXCELLENT.......2007-08-19
I've had this tv for about 8 months now. Yes, the regular TV picture isn't top end, but I don't even notice it now. The Hi-Def is awesome with my xbox 360 and pc, along with my ps2. No complaints here. It has many great menu options such as vitural surround and movie modes. It is only 15", but I don't care because I'm in college and it works great for me. If your a college student this is a great buy.
Not so hot for regular TV.......2007-01-04
The regular TV tuner is a little bit low end...however if you plan on using this for Hi-Def applications or as a PC monitor, the picture quality is very good! Max resolution of 1024x768
Lousy Contrast.......2006-06-21
This tv has a terrible picture, everything looks green, the preset video modes are dark and hard to see. It has good sound for a small tv but the picture stinks.

Great bedroom tv.......2007-08-12
I purchased this tv last year, but I was not using it as an hdtv until March 2007 (I was strictly using it with a DVD player). Let me first say that I love the small size and it looks great on my dresser in the bedroom. Right now I have it hooked up to a Samsung external tuner, an indoor antenna and a progressive scan dvd player. The picture I get looks great either in 480p and 720P. It does have a computer connection, but I haven't tried it yet.
I do have some minor problems. When I bought it, I did not realize it needed an external tuner, which was a bit expensive to buy later. It only has one set of component inputs for HDtv (I had to get a switcher to hook up the DVD player and the tuner). Most of all, on dark nights, the top and bottom of the picture is brighter than the middle (it's especially noticable if your watching a program with black bars on the top and bottom). Another warning I have is not to use it for 1080i even though it says in the manual it can carry that signal.
While I cannot really recommend people buy this tv now, since it doesn't come with a digital tuner, it is a nice TV for what it does and I hope I get years of good use out of it.
