The mic can either stands on your desktop or attached to your monitor saving space on your desk (both mounts included). Ok Sound quality, poor life.......2003-05-01
This mic lasted me only 10 months and I had bought it for $[a good price]. The sound quality is ok and you need to tune it through your audio wizard or sound can be very distorted. As someone else mentioned it was not a very good mic to use with speech recognition software but ok for conversations. Howerver, it just stopped working one day.
Good for voice/net telephony, bad for serious stuff.......2003-02-03
This thing sounds ok as a voice recording mic and for transmitting speech over the net to other humans, but for things like speech recognition and anything where the computer itself may have to understand you, this thing is aweful. It does not do a good job at all of filtering out background noise. If you want a good speech recognition mic, go find yourself a decent headset that specializes in speech.

This is a decent quality microphone with above average sound. It sounded horrible at first, but it was due to the poor microphone input on the motherboard. After I tried an external sound blaster Extigy, the sound quality improved a lot.
Background noise level is about average. I do have to crank up the mic input level to maximum on the extigy, and on windows volume control to get decent sound level.
If you are using the build-in microphone input on your motherboard or a cheap sound card, the quality may suffer (ie, very low voice level, not clear at all).

This microphone is of decent quality. You can have it stand on your computer desk, or you can attach it to your monitor.The microphone is adjustable. You can tilt it up to 90 degrees. I like to use it for voicemail. The sound quality is decent. At first you might think the quality is lower, but after you practice using it, the microphone sounds great. This microphone is great, and so is the price.

Awesome Stands That Won't Cost a Fortune.......2007-12-24
I have my Logitech Z5500 front satellite speakers mounted on these stands and they look killer. The speaker wire can be hidden within the extendable rod. They won't hold a huge speaker, but most satellites should be adaptable. Included hardware was sufficient for me to mount my satellites. Everyone that sees my setup asks where did I get the speaker stands.

Purchased these stands to go with the Polk Audio RM6750 Titanium speakers. It was a perfect fit with a very near match of colors, easy set-up and no monkeying around with attaching the speakers to the stands. All mounting hardware needed to attach these speakers is included.
