When I was browsing for a skin/case for my iPod nano 2nd generation I came across this one and i was like wow this is a good deal so I started reading more about it in the description I was blown away. Well when I received it the mail I was like wow this is not what I ordered. I was hoping for a skin/case like the one I have for my video iPod where you have to slip it into the screen area and have it be secure on the bottom portion near the dock connector area. This skin fits well but it has no portion on the bottom to keep it from slipping out of it I do like the screen protector it does work well so if anything I bought a nice screen protector this skin is not bad at all its just not tight and secure for my nano as I was hoping for.

Does just what it is supposed to. Only complaint is that it gaps slightly around the screen, but I have a screen protector on and haven't had any problems with debris getting caught. Fits on easily and stays put.

Great picture, great price, poor reliability.......2006-12-01

My first set came new out of the box with a "buzzing" sound. I had read that DLP's can be a bit noisy, so I tried to ignore it at first. After a week or so I called the retailer I purchased it from who agreed it shouldn't be buzzing. They sent their repairman out who determined I needed a new engine, but my retailer just gave me a brand new tv instead.

My second set has no buzzing! However, after about 6 weeks (and this is a brand new, out of the box tv) the bulb burst! Luckily the local repair facility had bulbs in stock and it is very easy to replace.

Even with those problems I recommend this tv. The picture quality is absolutely fantastic! It's going for around $1700, which is what I paid, and it's worth every penny. The picture is so good I haven't even bothered upgrading my Directv subscription to HD - it looks great with a regular digital signal.

My advice is to buy this tv along with an extended warranty that also covers bulb replacement. I bought an additional 4-year, on-site repair including bulb replacement for $220. If it weren't for the problems I've had so far, I would rate this a 5-star!

I thought that Toshiba would be a winner.......2006-08-19

Have had the 56mx195 for 2 months now,picture is not $2700.00 worth.Halo's around the letters on the screen are always present(ie your TV guide,subtitles ect)color is always off .Going to call a tv repair man in,it's still under warranty and see if he can straightened out the picture problem.Now of course besides not being that happy with the TV in the first place the bulb went out on me last night.2 months old "unsatisfactory"!!I called Toshiba,all I got was that they would send me a bulb in a week.Lucky for me I bought the TV at a really reputable video store and he went in the back and took a bulb out of a TV in the back to get me going again.He told me that if I still had the box the TV came in I could return the tv.Really thinking about it.God I miss my 15 year old 52 inch Hitachi.Now for some of the good points.DVD's look pretty good on it when being played,it comes with a swivel stand.It also come's with a lot of extra's that the average tv watcher will probably never use.Think twice before you buy this tv.

Amazing hdtv!.......2006-05-14

I have owned this tv for about a month now. The picture is amazing. Xbox 360 looks super sharp and Upconverted dvd's look great as well. The remote control and manual are relatively straight forward and easy to understand. I have my dvd player hooked to the HDMI 1 input and can see a great difference over component video. My only complaint is that the tv Will Not convert audio from HDMI to Optical. This is an major annoyance considering it is a digital signal just getting rerouted. The tv has one optical out which I am currently not using do to the non conversion problem. Hopefully Toshiba will update this.

I don't regularly post reviews on here, but since I barely found any reviews for this product online (and had to rely solely on the description and picture), I figured this review might help someone else. :)

After hunting through TONS of stands online (300-400 on some of the "mega" sites) and looking for one that would fit nicely in a corner...this one topped my "top 10" list. And I'm glad I stuck with it!

The picture on here doesn't do it justice...it's a beautiful looking stand. The tempered dark glass is elegant...and the steel frame is built extremely well. You can't even tell it's metallic from far away, because it has a nice piano black gloss finish. It looks very slick in my family room and was easy to wire everything up (and set up was a breeze).

Plus, Amazon has the best price I could find anywhere (approx $50 cheaper here)...and with Amazon Prime...it was here the next day on my doorstep.

It's a beautiful, simple, open design. Get this and you won't be disappointed! :)

Stand was delivered very quickly, however the box was beat up and heavily damaged and the package came without any of the glass shelves!! One call to customer service rectified the problem, a new stand was sent (the box was also beat up) but all the pieces was present and intact. The stand is sturdy and strong and very pleasing to the eye. A very good choice of AV stands
