Great Product.......2007-07-20

I am enjoying my ear buds. I read some of the negative reviews prior to purchase and I am finding that with some common sense care these ear buds are holding up just fine. I am very pleased with them.

The Incredible Disintegrating Earbuds.......2006-06-02

I have owned this product for over a year and up until the past few months was very satisfied with my purchase. The sound from these earbuds is very crisp and they fit into the ear easily and comfortably. They also do an outstanding job of cutting out exterior sounds (which can be both a good thing and a bad thing). However, as I've seen from other reviewers, over time the casing begins to fall apart exposing the wiring in the cable. I now have around 7 or 8 areas on the cable that are showing exposed wire and can feel several other areas where the casing is going to start to split. I have seen other reviewers comment that this problem may be limited to the white version of these earbuds so if you are not concerned with your earbuds matching your iPod I'd recommend looking into one of the other Fontopia models.

Great Sound BUT Broke in a MONTH.......2006-05-28

Buy the 51LP, those last longer, not sure about white ones, but my friend has a 51LP black one that he has used for a year now, I checked it out, the wires are better as in tougher and there's a plastic clasp holding the wires together instead of a sharp metal one that comes with this product, plus the wires for this product are not tough, instead they are nice and soft which is meaningless to me for earphones. I don't care if my earphones' wires are nice and soft, make them tough instead.

I'd owned a previous model of the Sony Fontopia headphones and lost one of the rubber pieces for the earbud. So instead of trying to search everywhere for a replacement one I decided to get the newest model since I had the old ones for awhile. I love how these fit, they have a good sound (yes they're not perfect but then they only cost like $[...]). However, I despise the different length cords for the right and left ears and they don't hold up worth a crap. I use my ipod at night to help me go to sleep and I've torn the heck out of these things (my old ones didn't do this). The covering on the cord has worn off and I have exposed wires in numerous places, but these things are still kicking and working fine. So to the sony folks, make the shell a little tougher because these things fit perfect in my ears and I'd hate to have to search for another comfortable pair of earbuds.

Good, but broke.......2005-12-20

I have had these for a few months (maybe five) they sound awesome. It just sucks that i spent $50 on them and even though I havn't done anything to them, close to the earbud the wire cover is coming off more and more and I can also see the wire. They still work, but it definitely looks like it won't last forever. I thought maybe I did something to them on accident, but it looks like everyone else has this same problem. I don't really see any other good earbuds for this price, so I will probably buy another pair of these later.

Sadly, this well designed item doesn't work for me. It comes detached from its clip while I'm exercising and plunges to the floor dragging my headphones off.

This is a great product. I don't really use the belt clip part, but the case protects my ipod well. I only wish there was something to cover the screen and maybe the wheel too.

I love this for my ipod and recommend it to anyone who just wants a cover to protect their ipod. I wanted something that I could use to protect it in my purse and this was perfect.

Soft and flexible, it's easy to get on and off your Nano, should you need to. I haven't taken mine out of the skin since I got it. Fits with no trouble in my speaker dock. Feels nice to touch, too -- and it doesn't grab dirt or lint. Not very bulky, either. I did get separate protectors, the clear stick-on things, for the wheel and the screen; this doesn't protect those.

It doesn't offer good access to the hold button, but I've never actually USED the hold button so it doesn't bother me.

The clip arrangement is not great. You have a screw that goes into a reinforced area on the back of the skin, and a hard, clear plastic clip is supposed to lock onto the head of the screw. Getting the clip onto the screw head has proven impossible for me, and if you leave the screw in the back of the skin, it won't lie flat should you want it to. Take the screw out, there's no good place to keep it. Fortunately this comes with a lanyard, and that's what I use -- just sling it around my neck when I'm going to or leaving my car.

I got the... uh, the brownish colored one; it looks fine on a silver Nano. If you've got a colorful player, don't expect to see it unless you leave it naked or put it in hard, clear plastic.

A Pretty Good Product.......2007-01-06

I got this on christmas for my red ipod nano. It offers good protection for your ipod, but there were a few problems with this case. For one, it distorts the color of my red ipod, making it more orange than red. Also, the skin doesn't quite match up with the ipod. the hold button is extremely difficult to use because of this. Nevertheless, I thought this was a pretty good skin, but you could probably buy better.

Nice cabinet.......2007-12-07

This is a very nice looking cabinet. It's a little pricy but it looks very nice. One reviewer stated the top magents interfered with DVD storage, I have not had this problem. I think it holds roughly 25 DVDs per shelf.

Assembly is very easy. The instructions state the crossbar in the middle is optional but that it adds stability if installed. If you do install it then you will lose considerable dvd storage space on the middle shelf. You will only be able to store DVDs or CDs sideways. If you don't intend on moving the cabinet very much once assembled then you probably won't need the crossbar. If you rearrange often then you should use it as it would be pretty wobbly without it. It does give you a screw to secure it to a wall so if you intend on doing that then I would definitely not use the crossbar, it would just take up unnecessary room.

And don't think you can just remove the bar after install if it doesn't work for you. You have to disassemble the whole thing to take it out.

Overall, I'm happy with it for its size. I could personally use a larger cabinet but couldn't find anything else reasonably priced that looked as nice as this one.

Spacing for DVD's is too tight .......2007-07-11

I bought this cabinet and I'm somewhat dissatisfied.
The assembly is not complicated, it uses bolts with cam locks.

PRO's: Finish, color, enclosed to keep dust out.

CON's: poor door hinge design; it's too small and spacing for DVD's is very restrictive.
The doors do not close evenly and make contact with the shelving.
DVD space is lost because of the top door magnets.

Summary: nice looks but lack of spacing between DVD/shelves and doors causes problems with proper clsosing. Everything is very tightly packed.
