Pioneer continues its lead in the home theater market with this entry. Its sound quality and ease of operation are nothing less than superb, and its appearance can be summarized as understated elegance. Pioneer Elite products have always been well designed in terms of operation, sound quality, and appearance. This model is no exception to that happy rule.
The market is crowded with "me too" products, but Pioneer's engineers remain at the forefront, reflecting their many years of experience. Setup with any configuration of main, center, subwoofer, and surround speakers could not be easier, including the use of automated speaker placement sensing, equalization, and phase control. Within just a few minutes, your system will be operating as if a professional had spent hours tweaking it to perfection.
You get what you pay for........2007-11-26
Pioneer Elite products are expensive but well made and state of the art. The receiver I purchased (VSX 92 THX) is fully capable of handling all current digital signals, be they audio, video, TV, satelite, game, home theater etc. including 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound( although 5.1 is ubiquitous with few 6.1 and nearly no 7.1 sources routinely available at this time). The receiver functions are all accessible through the remote or the face plate dials or buttons. Most impressive is the power and signal processing pushed to your speakers. If you own high quality speakers you will hear details perhaps never before experienced,i.e., finger plucks or slides on guitar strings with astonishing clarity. Some cautions, the unit is fairly large( approx. 8" high, 18" wide and 20" deep. It also generates noticeable heat and requires at least 8" clearance above the unit for ventilation. The receiver has more functions and capability than I need at this time but it certainly is comforting to know that as my system grows, this receiver can handle it all. Audiophiles will appreciate the technical capabilities of the receiver. Less sophisticated consumers like myself will appreciate the sound, durability, and quality of the product. Amazon supplier delivery was prompt and the carton contained all parts, warranty and instructions. I am very pleased with the product and the service.

This receiver says it is sold by Ace Photo Digital. However, Ace Photo Digital has no such receiver listed on their site. After calling to see if it was in stock, the salesman said he never even heard of it. Not sure what would happen if you actually ordered it, but watch out.

It's hard to believe cassettes aren't being made anymore. I remember back in the 80's and how cassettes were the best option. Then compact discs came along and everything changed (changed for the better).
Well, this is what you'd expect: a decent-sized cassette holder. I would only recommend if you have a giant box of tapes and you want to find a way to organize them. Otherwise, it's all about CD's now so your best option would be to find a recorder that can take the music on a cassette and put it on a compact disc.
Not for scrapbooking.......2005-09-01
This is a very sturdy cassette holder, and they stack very well. However, I had purchased to use for storage of ink pads in my scrapping room. Close to My Heart inkpads will not work in these because the slots are made to hold cassettes with a case, not just a cassette itself. Therefore, the slots are too wide for the inkpads.
I did solve the problem by putting a 3x5 index card in each slot first, but it was disappointing that it wasn't the quick fix I had hoped it would be.
But, for storing cassettes with holders in my classroom, it's working great!
