Nice case at a bargain price.......2005-12-31
The case was slightly disappointing because it had no crystal or lense over the display, easily the most vulnerable part of the iPod Nano. The case also lacked a means to attach it to a belt, laynyard, or whatever. Yet for under $8.00, I'd be hard pressed to find a better case. The case seems reasonably sturdy, and being aircraft aluminium, possible modifications to overcome the minor deficiencies should be pretty straight forward. I already am looking about my collections of junk for a bit of perspex to fashion a display cover for the hole at the top of the case, and I like lanyard type suspension methods because of my minimal belt space when carrying my cell phone, PDA, keyrings, etc. all at once, so I will likely attach a method for suspending the device and case thusly.

Still going strong!!!.......2007-10-12
I purchased this a few years ago hooked it up and wow...great picture and great sound. I just put in a movie to watch...and it is still going strong. Definely got my moneys worth with this system.
Does not play DVDs from Region "All".......2005-12-27
This DVD player advertised (incorrectly) that it can play DVDs from region "All". I purchased it because my wife has several Russian movie classics on DVD that use region "All". The Magnavox player failed to read these DVDs. I called customer service and the short version is that they do not care. I bought this on clearance, so I am stuck with no returns, no warranty, and no functional DVD player.
Trouble.......2005-05-12
I got this in Jan 2004 Started having some problems with it then it just quit messed the warranty by 3 months. They want even try to feel sorry about it.. I sure wish I had come here and read the reviews first. Since I was the only one using it and I did not use it that much it took a little longer to tear up.But it did the very same thing the other people were talking about. One of the people at Magnavox tole me the eye will get off that reads.LIke I went in there and gave it a black eye Huh, This is a DUD stay away.. O the remote was a pain from Day one any way.. I will never ever buy Magnavox again!!!
Absolutely lousy.......2004-11-18
I purchased this item in July. I hooked it up and it did not work. I called customer service twice and was put on hold both times. The second time the customer service fellow was pleasant but not helpful. I rewired the surround system while he waited(seemed like it took forever). In the end, it did not work at all. So it sits here as a $200 paperweight that my wife teases me about.

I found the Magnavox MRD210 at the closeout table in the electronic dept of our local Target. What a find!. I bought it and set it up. It easily performed as well as the Sony my son has. I have hooked it up directly to my cable box and the result is faux digital on all the movies that are shown in 5.1 digital. Put in a DVD disk and look out! It's mind blowing that these little speakers can sound so big. 300 watts is very suffient. For the money it was a steal. Can't thank Target enough for selling it to me at the ridiculous sale price.
