Although the JM16's distinctive earcup styling meets the future head-on, the innovations go even further. Slim profile padded speakers are employed for enhanced comfort, and tension-loaded earhooks comfortably yet firmly hold the speaker snug against the ear. For greater convenience, the earhooks remain in the 'open' position while placing over the ears. The headphones' wraparound back piece is rubberized rather than solid, permitting the JM16 to be folded in half for absolute ease in transport.
