I have to admit that I was skeptical of the antenna at first, but I installed it and connected it to my Sirius receiver and now receive an excellent signal for use in the house.

Wow! I was amazed at how terrible this thing is. It works great so long as you are within 4 feet of the USB fob. I am not exaggerating!!! When I got over a few feet away (line of sight, nothing blocking it) it stopped working!! This is definitely going back!! Shame on you Keyspan for making a horrible product!

i'm using it with OS X (PPC) and remote buddy and it's awesome! used it on a windows tablet twice and didn't have a problem either.

I have a power mac g5 with no remote or ir port. I had to use my keyboard to activate front row. This makes things so much easier. It was either a wireless keyboard/mouse or this. I opted for this. Since my computer is not next to my tv the rf on this product made things way easier. No need to point towards the computer. It would be an even greater product if it worked with other programs besides front row.

Works well and has good range.
Integration with various Apple apps (iTunes, Quicktime player, DVD player) is pretty good.
However, it works by telling the OS that the receiver unit is a USB keyboard and thus far this has lead to two side effects which make it inferior to the Apple remote which I have on my Mac at work:
1.) The dialog that very occasionally comes up from the OS asking you to identify the unknown keyboard is annoying.
2.) If you have your security preferences set to require a password to unlock the screen saver then you can't use the remote while the screen saver is up since the OS will just bring up the unlock security dialog in response to the generated keyboard input.
