The Bluetooth GPS Navigator includes a GPS receiver with a built-in Bluetooth transceiver for wireless communication with your mobile device, without the messy cables. Simply place the iGPS-BT receiver on your dashboard and receiver accurate GPS data on your Bluetooth enabled Pocket PC to navigate to your destination. The high capacity lithium polymer battery will power the Bluetooth receiver for up to 6 hours between charges. A blue LED indicator flashes when searching for a Bluetooth connection and glows solid when connection is established. Use Pharos' Ostia navigation and routing software to navigate to your destination with street level maps and turn-by-turn, voice prompted directions.

Apparently Amazon is now the place to share your design opinion even though you don't own the product. Nice. How about next time you comment on something you own? And secondly (And you would know this if you OWNED the product) the GPS receiver is sitting in a bluetooth sled. The sled can be removed and you can hardwire the receiver and use it as a standard GPS mouse.
Anyhow, I've had this product for about 3 months now. Works GREAT with my PDA and mapopolis. I couldn't ask for better battery life, I get on average about 6-7 hours of use before needing a recharge. I would have given 5 stars, but the initial cold acquisition time is a bit longer then it should be. But once the initial acquisition takes place, smooth sailing.

This is my third Pharos GPS unit and easily the best. Coupled with my HP tablet and MS Streets and Trips 2004, the unit was up and running less than 5 minutes after ripping the plastic off the box! Yeah, that includes reading the Quick Start Manual.
I wish the software had voice prompts like the Ostia software installed on my PPC, but for speed, accuracy, convenience and price, this is a toy every real man should have! Actually, my wife is my navigator . . . behind every good man . . .
Hope someone comes up with a neat little dash mount for a tablet pc real soon.

I have used two of these Tripp Lite 10' cables for about 3 months and they have been perfect. Someone said they thought Belden was better; not from my experience. Buy these and I think you will be very happy. Came in Tripp Lite bag.
No Problems, Good Value.......2007-01-15
I bought this cable to connect a Maxtor OneTouch drive to a dual G5 Mac. The drive was recognized immediately and the Maxtor software setup went flawlessly. Using the drive in RAID 1 (mirrored) mode, I transfered a 12 GB iMovie project in under 6 minutes, for a sustained transfer rate of 33MB/sec.
I'm pleased with the valuue and glad to have the ten ft. length.
The cable came in a TrippLite retail bag.
Won't work at all........2005-09-19
I tried this cable with a G5 Mac and both LaCie and EZQuest drives. Neither drive would mount on the desktop. OEM cables were very short but worked perfectly. Perhaps one of the 9 pins were damaged. Cable shipped without retail package. Perhaps this is a factory second? I'm probably going to try the Belkin cable next.
