buy something else........2007-08-21
I love Sony, i really do. So when i went looking for a mp3, i started with Sony. In 2005 i bought my hd3 and quickly found it to be lacking. I can't believe in the list of the features it has, "comes with an ac adapter" and "you can connect to your PC". Why, because for this type of dmp(digital music player) these features should be synonymous. The problem is there is nothing else. The one thing I thought would have been included was the ability to make a play-list. And with out a play-list the "incredible battery life" is about ¼ of that when you're changing to a different artist, or albums because you turn on the back-light every time you touch the thing. I know u can turn it off, but I don't only listen to music when it bright and sunny. And I'm not going to change it back and forth. My friends have mp3's with Swappable rechargeable lithium-ion battery, multiple play lists, Built-in voice recording and FM tuner with FM recording capability. Anyway get something else and do some research if your going to spend this much money.
The player feels and looks great..........2006-07-08
But the software sonic stage made this by far the worst mp3 player I have ever owned. I suggest you try iaudio. I've had 3 of them (sold one, gave the other one away, and kept one for myself). Easy to upload music, and no headaches like sonicstage. With Iaudio it took me minutes to upload music. With sonicstage it took me 3 entire days (with the computer running) to upload the 4,000 songs. Pathetic.

almost everyone said is correct about this tiny lil' player.
but i'd like to add that we CAN transfer music of files even when there is no charger connected to it.
A Great Alternative ToThe Overrated iPod!.......2005-12-09
A few days ago I finally got my first ever real, full-featured portable music player, a beautiful red Network Walkman and I love it. The thing I like the most is that it ISN'T an iPod (which is for ultra-chic, wannabee-cool-people, music loving lemmings) and it does a good job at what it's supposed to do! Here's a quick bullet-point review:
+ Great battery life!
+ Beautiful red design...neat "sideways" format
+ Simple and easy to use
+ Sonic Stage tranfers files fast, does a good quick & dirty job
- No WMA support
- Atrac3 encoding necessary for quick transfer of music to player
- Compilation CDs have messed up track orders in SS & on the Walkman
- Recharging / USB connection is messy and overly complicated
- Included Earbuds kill your ears (hard plastic!...ouch!)
Overall, I think this is a B+ product. I gave it five stars because as a music player, it does a great job at that. I see many places for improvement---but since no current music player does everything I want right now, I'll be happy with my Walkman for the next couple years. It's a good 20gb backup drive as well and shopping through [...] (even amid all the controversy of Sony rootkit files, etc.) is very easy, very fast and practically painless.
Great Player, Sonicstage is awful..........2005-11-10
First, all those people that say it takes for ever to scroll through the music are just wrong. I have nearly 10k songs on the device and it scrolls through the music faster than an IPOD, which I also own.
It is better functionally than the IPOD, although it lacks in add-ons (except for the remote which is far better than anything by Apple).
Now the downside. Sonicstage is just awful. It is glitchy, the major one being that for no reason it can stop working and nobody at Sony can figure out how to fix it. The program is very cumbersome, you can configure your music, but it is a royal pain. Although I am not a big fan of I-Tunes, it is far superior to Sonicstage. I would buy it over an IPOD for the device is better, but be very leary of the Sony software, it sucks. I think the industry is missing the boat on forcing you to use there interfaces rather than a third party's (i.e. Microsoft's).

It's normal.......2007-12-23
This product is not the best one, it has a few problems, first the screws that comes with it, are good just for wood and not for wall, and once you have installed on the wall, you have to put your tv down so you can plug or unplug your cables from your tv... it's quite boring...
Very Sturdy, Easy To Install, Superior Customer Service.......2007-12-19
I purchased this wall bracket to hold my new 50" Panasonic HDTV to the living room wall. A very well-made item, forged with heavy gauge steel, with a quite attractive finish. Hardest part was locating the studs behind my plaster walls, but eventually pulled it off after drilling some exploratory holes. You want to get the four lag bolts into the center of the studs and tighten down, but don't do what I did: I put too much torque on one bolt and tore the head right off! (yes, Virginia, there is a thing known as "too tight"). This was most likely due to using an extension on my socket wrench, which permitted me to really crank down on the sucker. Not a big deal really, as I simply drilled another hole nearby and ran another bolt through it (which, of course, I bought at a hardware store - the bracket does not come with spare lag bolts). After installation, I hung off of the bracket and it took my weight with not so much as a shimmy. My brand-spankin' new TV went on the wall nicely and is the envy of all that see it. Even better, PDR called me after getting my rebate paperwork and said the check was on its way, which I received about five days after mailing the forms in. Nice.
Do yourself a favor and get this wall bracket. It tilts as well, an added plus. You won't be disappointed. Last word of advice: do as others have suggested and connect all your cables to the back of the set before placing it on the bracket. Though you may be able to attach cables with the TV hung, your life will be infinitely more difficult this way. Some have suggested that the bracket be designed to tilt up as well, to allow for cable / wire installation while wall mounted. A good idea.
SOLID, FUNCTIONAL, RELIABLE.......2007-12-13
This articulating arm was not only easy to install for our 52" flatscreen TV but is extremely sturdy and stretches to 26" where we keep it most of the time. Our TV was up within 30 minutes - easy to read directions, thank you! It is so dependable that I've bought the PDR Mount 3442 model for our 40" upstairs.
Solid TV Mount.......2007-12-07
The heavy duty tilt mount was well made and easy to setup. It was probably overkill for my 37 inch LCD TV but it does the trick and was easy to install.
Flat TV Screen Mount.......2007-12-01
I recommend this product. It is sturdy, easy to assemble and install and strongly holds a flat panel tv. A+
