Fits the Magellan Maestro 3140.......2007-10-13
IMHO if you put the money into a portable GPS, then spend a bit for a case. This case WILL fit the Magellan Maestro 3140 and it's easy to get in/out.
I like the closing of the case as it snaps tightly closed each and every time! The sides are an elastic.

Nice case, firm case covered with nice soft leather, nick slick magnetic closure.
Although we have a 3100, and the case name only mentions 2000/2200T, this is the case recommended by Magellan, and it fits it like a glove.
The only thing we might have changed would be the addition of some sort of handle or clip.

Roadmate carrying case .......2007-06-29
I don't think it is very hard to mess up a carrying case for a product, but the leather is soft and my Roadmate slides in and out very easily in the case. It has a nice magnet closure to keep it shut. I defintely reccomend this over the nylon case.

This carrying case for my Magellan RoadMate is much more snug and secure than a soft, bag-type case. The RoadMate fits perfectly and the snap-down cover is secure and positive. The case also is superior at preventing scratches and wear. This was an excellent purchase.

I bought this to carry my GPS 315 around and it does the job. I can strap it on my backpack or to my belt buckle and the GPS still works. I consider this a must have GPS accessory.
