Under the cabinet radio-cd player.......2007-12-21

Love it! We are surrounded by hills and woods so I was concerned about reception, but it is excellent. It was relatively easy to put in (minimal groaning from my husband who attached it under the cabinet), takes up no space. Highly recommend this product to anyone considering an under-the-counter CD player/radio.

Great Under-the-Cabinet Radio/CD/TV Unit.......2007-09-19

I bought this unit for my mom in December 2002. I bought it to replace another radio unit that was under the cabinet. After nearly five years, this unit works great. We've had no problems with it whatsoever.

Very Nice Product.......2007-05-13

I've had this CD/Clock Radio for about a month now and I like it very much. It was easy to mount under my kitchen cabinet, and the wood of the cabinet was thick enough that I could counter-sink the screws and eliminate the problem some people reported with the screw-heads sticking up inside the cabinet.

It's easy to use and easy to set the clock and buttons, though I don't need the remote - I'm nearly always close enough to use the buttons on the radio itself.

The only issue I have with it it that the FM antenna is in the electrical cord and when I walk too close I get static from it. I can't place the cord in such a way that I don't have to get too close which I could do if the antenna were separate - I don't know enough about RF to know if that's even possible.

Easy to use kitchen clock radio........2007-01-10

The mounting spacers were not long enough. I had to make my own out of plastic electrical conduit which worked quite nicely.I also had to purchase new longer screws. Unfortunely the screws were metric (I think)& I had a hard time locating them.This was suprising for our kitchen cabinets are only 1 year old. The base boost switch does not boost the base frequencies very much. Why not set the radio at the max base boost & eliminate the switch (and save production costs)?
Overall the controls are easy to use and the sound quality is ok for a small radio. Personally I which the sound quality was a little better, but it is adequate. I'm happy with this radio & I would purchase another one.

Got this as a gift and Love it!.......2004-01-07

My husband gave this to me for Christmas in 2002 'cause I always blasted the stereo when I cooked. It still wasn't load enough for me and way to load for him. We are now both happy. Sound is good enough for me for most of the time, especially while I'm cooking or waking up with morning coffee. The remote is convienient, the variety of preset options great, and the weather band a nice bonus. We had some issues with reception, but were able to work it out. The only thing that would make this better is if I could play more than 1 CD at a time.

a knock-off.......2007-08-11

I actually purchased a 'knock-off' of this remote at our local discount retailer (Marc's,cleveland, Oh) for 5.99.
It's AWESOME! The kids can't stick it in their pocket, it won't fit down in the sofa or under it either.
I had to have my teen son program it, but it works great and the buttons glow in the dark.
No manufacturer's name on it and it's labeled JUMBO Universal remote.

Doesn't work.......2007-06-22

I purchased this off Amazon. Including tax and shipping the total was close to $40. When I received it and found it did NOT work, I tried getting an RMA to return it. I was told that I would have to pay for shipping. So for something that does NOT do what it advertises I have to fork over at least $10 in shipping. I will never do business with this company again. And if you want a good remote do not buy this one from Brookstone.

Better Understanding Of Instructions.......2007-11-21

I just love the big keypad and the size of the remote itself however, I've been struggling with getting it in sync with my TV and DVD player. I would get more of this type of remote control but I'm working on getting an enlarged version of it but it won't be finished until after Thanksgiving. Everyone should be able to read and understand what to do to program their remote and that's what I'm trying to do.
