I had a iRiver T10 1 GB MP3 Player and tossed it in frustration. I purchased this player (TrekStor i.Beat Organix FM 1 GB MP3 Player with FM Tuner) because it behaves like a flash drive - not dependent on Windows Media Player (you can use it, but don't have to.) I use it constantly. It is highly configurable, easy to figure out without the manual, has a long battery life and sounds great. It feels much nicer than the iRiver, the buttons are great. It supports many file formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, ASF. Best of all it can use DRM but is not a slave to DRM. Next I'm buying the TREKSTOR 67136 Datastation Pocket x.u Portable 160GB Hard Drive & TREKSTOR 12GB USB-Stick CS-D Drive.

I own the model without glow-in-the-dark buttons. The only difference is the material the buttons themselves are made out of.
If you have a TV, VCR or DVD chances are really good it's supported. If it's a combo unit your chances drop to about half, DVD/VCR combo is maybe 20% when programmed separately. Fair chances that it will control your cable TV or satellite box. If you have a DVD recorder or ATSC tuner box you're just out of luck. I have yet to get it to work with my A/V receiver in spite of it being an advertised feature.
I got mine on sale for eight bucks and wouldn't pay a penny more. They're a gimmick, a toy, nothing truly useful. 3 stars because it's useful as far as it goes, the "8 device" claim is a flat out lie though it's 5.

Better Understanding Of Instructions.......2007-11-21
I just love the big keypad and the size of the remote itself however, I've been struggling with getting it in sync with my TV and DVD player. I would get more of this type of remote control but I'm working on getting an enlarged version of it but it won't be finished until after Thanksgiving. Everyone should be able to read and understand what to do to program their remote and that's what I'm trying to do.

Jumbo Universal Remote by totes
I easily programmed the remote for my television but when it came time to program the codes for the VCR I ran into much difficulty. Had I not been able to program the television I would have thought it was just me. However after entering the codes for my VCR numerous, many numberous, times I tried their suggestion on automatic code entry. No luck again. I have programmed other unversal remotes for my den and bedroom and had no problem. I wanted this for it's size but am disappointed with it.
