The telephone returns to the wall in this 1956 classic companion to the desk-style version. Designed for convenience, the wall set was most often found in kitchens where tabletop space was at a premium. It also became popular in such areas as the basement, covered patio and garage. The Dreyfuss Wall Phone features the nostalgic rotary dial but actually functions with push button technology. No more waiting for that rotary dial to make its excruciatingly slow rotation.

I purchased the Crosley CR-57 in brushed chrome in February 2006. Less than a year later, it's inoperable and way out of Crosley's 90 day warranty. Compared to the 1950s Western Electric manufactured phone that Crosley modeled their product from, the Western Electric product lasted for years!
