Great phone for the price.......2007-01-15
I got this phone because real estate on my desk is at a premium and my old phone took up too much space. This has a small footprint. The audio is clear and the volume works just fine. I keep the ringer off because I am a hypnotherapist and I can't have the phone ringing during sessions. The nice thing is that you can visually see the phone ringing via the LED on the talk button. The only thing missing is speaker phone for those long hold periods with customer service. I am happy with it.

This phone was a total disappointment, as it is impossible to hear the caller. If the volume is at its highest, your own voice is so loud that it's torture, and you still can't hear the other person clearly. I bought this phone because of previous good experience with a GE phone. Thought this would be better, since it's more powerful, but it's far worse.
Great prforming phone at a nice price!.......2006-05-17
We have had our phone for several months and it is an all around good phone. The reception is terrific and it holds a charge for a long time. Its charge time has not decreased over the months of use. I have read the other comments about the talk button being in a bad spot but I must say that I have not had any problems with it. Neither my husband nor I have ever accidently hit it so I was a bit surprised to read that it was a concern. If you like to spend a lot of time on the phone, do not want to place your phone back in the cradle often and are a frugle person this is a great phone.
excellent reception and charge .......2006-05-02
In my quest for a decent, reasonably priced, cordless phone, I've tried about fifteen different models and brands and this is the one I'm most pleased with. Its not perfect, as the above review mentions with regard to the talk button (if you rest the phone on your shoulder, its easy to accidentally hit the talk button and either disconnect or put your call on hold) but its not good for your neck muscles to hold the phone that way, anyway. I consider it a mild inconvenience and a trade-off for the excellent charge and reception of this phone. I tend to talk on the phone a lot and this phone stays charged when its off the base for about 3 days (longer if I talk less) and I talk for approximately 3 hours per day. That's excellent in comparison to all the other phones I've tried, including the most expensive. My other phones would start losing their charge faster and faster after I'd owned the phone for a few days or weeks. Not this one, I've had it for about 8 months and it holds the charge as long as it did when I first bought it. I recommend this phone as a no-frills, good quality phone as long as you don't need to hold it against your shoulder for long periods of time you'll be happy with it.
Talk Button is in the Dumbest Place.......2006-03-27

Features are great.
Nice phone to look at.
But there is one lurking design flaw that dooms this phone. The Talk button is round and big and sticks out just enough that if you rest this phone on your shoulder for a millesecond, you hang up on the other party.

Solid memory expansion........2006-09-22
These 72-pin SIMMS pop easily into most motherboards. From older Apple PowerMac PPC to 486 and 586 and Pentium class computers. By extension this means AMD k6-II platforms (super socket 7). The EDO is a nice added feature for system boards that support it. Does not hinder its use in older systems however.
Main benefits: Faster computer speed and performance w this 32MB EDO SIMM memory module. One of the benefits to my computer was faster multitasking, Web browsing and gaming. My hard drive thrashed less (since less virtual memory was needed) and apps opened up much faster.
