Easy to use, good reception, small but not too small, reasonably priced. We're very happy with this phone.
Smaller but weaker.......2006-01-18
We've had a model KX-TG2216FV for years and loved it, but I thought a smaller unit would be easier for the living room so tried this one. Plus, the blinking antenna to indicate voice mail sounded like a nice feature.
That feature, however, isn't turned on by default. Neither are several others. Unlike other phones, cameras, MP3 players, and many other devices, you'll probably want to actually use the manual and consider each setting, as the menu defaults are in some instances odd.
The sound quality is initially what you would (and we did) expect from a Panasonic, but the battery drain is poor and the volume drops off in long calls (within ten minutes). And while we've had no problems with DSL, as reported by another reviewer, we do agree with the concerns raised about keypad lighting.
On balance, I'd recommend the KX-TG2216FV instead. This one isn't that much smaller, and the weaker features make it a weaker choice.

This is an excellent phone. Compact, full-featured, and inexpensive. The only complaint is that it is missing an earphone jack!

I was a little hesitant to purchase this phone based on some of the other reviews but this one is a winner! Excellent reception and clarity. Lots of built-in features like ringtones, voice mail access with touch of a button, address book and memory. Another thing I like is that the speaker phone is in the handset and you have the option to have the antennae light up if you have messages. The handset is the perfect size. Too many features to list but it's a great deal especially at this price.

This is a good office phone. It has a lot of great features including an antenna that blinks when there is a voice mail message. The battery life is quite decent and the range and reception are very good. The lack luster menus took a little getting used to, but once I did they were quite intuitive.

Saved the day.......2007-06-08
I had a son to graduate this year and I had planned on filming the graduation with my palmcorder which is about 4 years old, then I discovered that I could not find the battery charger that came with is. I began an online search to see if I could find one for the model that I have. Needless to say I could not find one at any of the camera or electronics stores.
