I've had this phone for about four years and it has been great except for one thing. The LCD screen is almost completely useless now. It started losing "lines" of pixels both horizontally and vertically. Now enough are gone that memory dialing and caller id are useless on this phone and I am living in Tierra del Fuego ,when the replacement it's dificult.

I've owned at least 7 cordless phones, one costing more that [$$], and this has been the best. Easy operation, good feel in the hand and on the ear and totally reliable. I wouldn't be replacing the one I've had for nearly three years but I'm losing custody of it in the divorce. I like the phone so much it's the first thing I'm replacing. That's how good it is.

This is absolutely the best phone I have ever found. I was surprised to read a negative review and decided to place my own. We have owned this phone for a couple of years now and had NO PROBLEMS. I'm actually looking to buy this phone again because my 15 month old just gave it a bath in the toilet and it now needs to be replaced. The whole time that we have owned it, the reception has been clear, no interference, operates perfectly, the phone number storage for speed dial is great (holds 50 numbers!), and even after being dropped repeatedly (we have 3 kids: 6, 4, & 15 mo) it has always worked perfectly. I can't say enough. This is a definite great buy. And, the price is half what we originally paid for it a couple years ago.

A good low cost laser printer but it jams a lot.......2007-01-15
This prints fast and produces adequate low cost laser copies. Also the printer cartridges last a long time, nearly 4,000 pages. The downside of this printer is that it only feeds properly with an absolutely full even stack of paper. Once it gets about 1/3 the way down, be prepared for it to start feeding multiple pages through. Once it gets about 1/2 way down, then it really starts to jam up as it often feeds the rest of the stack through.
It doesn't take all that long to unjam it, but it is irritating when you have large print jobs to do.
Only buy one of these if you can find a very good price on it and need a low cost laser printer.
Better than its predecessor, still not great .......2006-07-23
The HP Laserjet 5L jammed constantly; I owned two and both were destroyed by my repeated efforts to clear jams that routinely occurred in an inaccessible area under the fuser. My 6L didn't jam until I'd owned it for a few months, but eventually the same thing happened and I had to invest in about $80 of repairs.
Considering that these older printers will inevitably be bought used and cheap, though, one probably has to accept that they won't be perfect.
