"Died" after finally getting it to work.......2007-10-28
I really wanted to like this player. My favorite colors are in the red "family" and the color black, and this player looked sharp, "cute" and simple. If only it performed as well.
At first it could not detect my computer (I have Windows Vista), so I feared compatibility issues, even though the box indicated it was Vista-ready. Once it finally recognized my laptop, I had to try and learn how to program the thing. Although this was my first mp3 player, I didn't expect it to be that hard to use. But I think the problem was simply that the player is defintitely not user-friendly. I can't tell you how many times I had to revert to the manual to do just about anything. I am not a stupid person by any means; I just found that the player is not very intuitive. You basically have two different buttons to navigate with ("menu" and "mode"), but where you go depends on how LONG you press each button. Pressing quickly brings you to one "place"; pressing a little longer, another. Then once you get to this particular "sub-level", so to speak, you need to navigate THAT level to get to where you truly want to be. I found it overly complicated and tedious.
On the plus side, the earphones are great (soundwise). I have a "regular" pair of Sennheissers, and they can't be beat..however, I find earphone plugs to be rather uncomfortable and sometimes struggle to keep them in my ears. That is a downside, to me.
Anyway..long story short: After spending hours figuring the player out and adding songs and programming the radio, the player suddenly decided to stop working. Tsk..and just when I was thinking I might be able to live with the players idiosyncrasies.
So now the player is on its way back to Amazon, and I've barely had it for 24 hours. I hope anyone else who decides to buy it has a better experience then I did. As for me, if I've learned anything, it's actually that I probably need to get a "bigger" (i.e more memory) player, anyway. ;-)

I had a iRiver T10 1 GB MP3 Player and tossed it in frustration. I purchased this player (TrekStor i.Beat Organix FM 1 GB MP3 Player with FM Tuner) because it behaves like a flash drive - not dependent on Windows Media Player (you can use it, but don't have to.) I use it constantly. It is highly configurable, easy to figure out without the manual, has a long battery life and sounds great. It feels much nicer than the iRiver, the buttons are great. It supports many file formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, ASF. Best of all it can use DRM but is not a slave to DRM. Next I'm buying the TREKSTOR 67136 Datastation Pocket x.u Portable 160GB Hard Drive & TREKSTOR 12GB USB-Stick CS-D Drive.

Great organizer bag for your SUV/Mini Van/Car. The velcro at the bottom of the bag really keeps it in place and prevents it from sliding around. The zipper closure also keeps the contents private. I highly recommend this bag.
Just what my SUV needed............2006-02-05
I had a small stretch cargo net that was attached to the four cargo tie down hooks in the back of my Explorer Sport SUV and it did a pretty good job of holding down a couple of gallons of milk so they wouldn't roll away but the amount of items I could slip under the stretch cargo net was limited. I needed something larger. I did my internet research and came upon the Case Logic ATO40 Folding Cargo Bag. It seemed to be what I was looking for. Case Logic was a name that I was very familiar with, the size was decent (23.25" x 13.25" x 12.25") and it has a 25 year factory warranty. How could I go wrong?
Now my Case Logic ATO40 Folding Cargo Bag sits nicely between the SUV's cargo hooks without interfering with them. The underside of the bag has factory-attached hook and loop strips (affectionately known as Velcro to us who sew) which makes the bag stick like glue to my SUV carpet. Even if I have a lightweight item in the cargo bag the bag doesn't slide all over the back of my truck. I've stuffed gallons of milk, liters of soda and six filled plastic grocery bags into the Case Logic ATO40 Folding Cargo Bag and have yet to have anything tip over. I haven't used the flap closures yet but have had opportunity to use the stretch pockets on the front which I love for small packages that might get crushed if they were put into the main compartment with larger items.
The only thing about the cargo bag that I really don't care for is the sides tend to flop down which makes the entire piece look a bit unkept. The sides are made of thick nylon fabric and have no stability rods to keep them taunt so they tend to drape into the bag when it's not packed full enough to hold the sides up. I'm sure a couple of 2 foot long flexible acrylic rods slipped into the top side interior edges of the bag would take care of that and I might eventually try that if the sides become a problem for me.
The darkness of the bag blends in with the dark gray interior of my SUV so the Case Logic ATO40 Folding Cargo Bag is not obviously visible if someone were to happen to look into the back of my truck.
All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to buy the Case Logic ATO40 Folding Cargo Bag again, droopy sides and all.
Nice replacement for cardboard..........2001-12-15
These folding "bags" are great! They're actually box-shaped and make great replacements for cardboard boxes in some instances. I use them for holding lots of different things:
- groceries in the back of my pickup,
- my winter survival gear,
- unwrapped Xmas presents,
- dry goods in the pantry,
- an extra sleeping bag,
- clean socks and underwear.
The bags feature external web pockets, zipping covers, and sturdy handles. I do wish the sides were a bit stiffer since I don't need to fold them very often anyway. The lack of stiffness is the only thing that keeps these bags from being the perfect cardboard box replacement.
I bought about ten of these when they were on sale a while back. I wish I had bought at at least twice as many!

This item is a great help for folks who like to keep things organized, and don't want stuff rolling around in their trunk. We keep tools, a towel to kneel or lay on if the car breaks down on the side of the road, paper towels to wipe dirty hands, jumper cables, emergency flares and triangles, etc, in it. It keeps everything neat and in one place, instead of scattered around in the car!

I bought a Samsung 4065F at Fry's in Orange County as well as a $70 2m Monster 500 series cable just because the guy recommended it: "It's what I use at home," (sure). Then I went to Time Warner and traded in my old box for a high definition box, and showed the guy the cable. He said, "It's just a cable, shop around," and he added that they usually install using component cables and he in fact gave me some. Then I started to read on the Internet all about how Monster cables are a hoax and all, and finally took the cable back and got a $25 one on sale for $20. It was awful! My 16-year-old son and my wife could tell instantly. I tried component cable, and it helped somewhat with the sound, but it still didn't hold a candle to the Monster. I measured and figured I only needed 1 meter of cable, so I returned the cheap HDMI cable and got a 1m 700 series Monster cable for the same price as the 2m 500 series. Again, we're completely dazzled by the look (and the sound) of our Samsung 1065F. The 700 did not perform any better than the 500, but maybe we're buying some future protection in case TW ever pushes out a true 1080p signal (it's now 720p, 1080i). There may be great cables out there for a better price, but please just trust your eyes and ears and don't waste too much time reading Internet blogs.

I bought two of these for my new Samsung 4071f HDTV, and Panasonic blu ray player. Put one on the HDTV that worked great, but when I plugged the blu ray one in, the player gave me a code for a defective HDMI cable. The screen would flicker randomly.
I thought for sure that there would be no problems buying a product like this online, but now I'm not so sure.

It's great cable, but not worth the $$. I bought this one and compare it with the monoprice cable (
<$6 vs $80), I saw no noticable difference. And after seeing the eye diagram that some one done the comparison with monoprice vs monsters, I'm convince the more expensive one won't be any better. Check it out on google for the comparison, a very good one.

This cable is awesome. I'm using it for my PS3 to watch Blu-Ray movies and play games on my Vizio 1080p HDTV. Picture is way more sharper and brighter with this cable than with ordinary HDMI cable I have. A bit pricey, but if you want the best this is it. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.
