A good phone for the value..........2007-05-13
I like this phone but the only complaint that I have about it is that sometimes that earpiece "clicks" as if you have another call coming in. I do not have call waiting so I know that is not the problem. My mom has a VTech that does the same thing so maybe it is just the brand...who knows?? Other than that though, the audio quality is excellent in both the mouthpiece and the earpiece. The voice on the menu is kind of muffled also but is understandable. I recommend this phone if you are looking for a good phone at such a low price...
Does What Its Suppose To Do.......2006-06-18
Other reviewers have dogged this phone but I find it does what its supposed to do. Mine works fine. As far as the base ringer being loud, you do have the option of turning it off and just using the ringer on the handset which has 4 different rings of various volumes. I have mine in the living room and the LCD is not overly bright. I bought mine on clearance for $25 instead of the $35 regular price and believe I got a very good phone for the money. I would and do recomend this phone for those who don't need all the bells and whistles of phones costing twice as much.

This phone, I have replaced twice now through Amazon, is a peice of garbage. I have since replaced it. The earpeice is always going out, the answer machine deletes messages, and the clock will not stay set. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.
No volume control for the ringer = migraine.......2006-02-12
First of all, the phone works just fine . . . as a phone.
The annoying parts follow:
- The ringer only has one volume setting: Loud as blazes.
- The LCD readout blinks constantly and only has one brightness setting: Bright as blazes.
- For some reason, whenever we retrieve messages, each one is always proceeded by a voice saying "power failure!"
Annoying as . . . well, annoying as blazes.
So, if you're blind, mostly deaf, and like a regular update on your phone's power, by all means buy it.
