Excellent Mounts.......2007-05-30
I have researched online and looked at other mounts in stores and thought this was one of the better built mounts out there. It doesn't hurt that I can get it for about half the price of stores like BB or CC. Ordered it from Etronics and the items arrived on times as promised.
When I opened the box, I was glad I ordered the item. The brackets and wall plates are smooth and have a finish that indicated its high quality. Also included within the box are all the possible bolts & washers & spacers combinations. I have a Panasonic plasma, so the M8 bolts are the perfect fits. The others were M4, M5, M6 (metric types). Check your plasma or LCD manuals to see if they are compatibles.
Anyway, installation was very simple. You do need two people, though, to lift your mounted TV and brackets into the wall plate. Even though it is rated for up to 175 lbs, with the huge lag bolts that are provided (as big as the ones used for my garage door), nothing is going to move once it is in place. The only minor complaint is that the safety bolts were a little bit hard to reach to tighten, but no big deal.
The best features of the mount are of course the one-hand tilting features. Once the knobs are tension correctly, you can just tilt the TV up and down with just one hand.
Overall, a very high-quality built mount and reasonable price make it a must buy !!!

Easy to install and works very well. Amazon sels these for half the price of the Ciruit City and Best Buy chains. Don't pay an installer to mount this is you own a ratchet set and a drill. You can do it!

if you have a plasma T.V and the light comes from different directions you can tilt the T.V so image is clear.

I bought this online after having seen it in a large retailer store for more than twice the price. This is a snap to put together. We had the TV up in just a few minutes. It came with plenty of options for screws/bolts and we were easily able to find the right ones to match our new Panasonic 50".
This a great deal and a very sturdy product. I was surprised at how solid all of the construction was, the pictures don't do it justice.

A great sturdy product! It was easy to install. Two page instructions was simple to comprehend. It is made of thick guage metal, so it is a little on the heavy side. It came with various fastener sizes for a universal fit for all brands of TVs.
