Sturdy MP3 player.......2007-11-08

I have had this product for over 6 months and have not had any problems at all. I have even dropped it several times and it still works. I like the fact that it takes regular batteries (that and the price were the main selling point for me). I was a little hard to get used to how to navigate an skip songs, but now it is pretty easy. I like the fact that I can sort the music into folders I create on my computer, that way, I can have my workout music in 1 folder and not have it mixed with slow stuff. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it was hard to navigate at first and the earpieces do not fit my ears (I have really small ears), I had to buy different headphones, as most standard earbuds do not fit anyways.

I would definately buy this one again.

Obsolete and poorly designed MP3 player.......2007-08-12

This player doesn't even have the feature that ALL other, even the least expensive, players have - it does not resume. When you turn off the player it loses the position in the file and starts from the beginning. I called RCA/Thomson help desk and they blithely explained to me that this how they designed it.

Before I bought this MP3 player on Amazon, I had several CD/MP3 players. They are still great, but wanted a small REAL MP3 player to take on walks and to have for travel, etc. When I saw that a good friend of mine had a RCA MP3 player like this, I borrowed it for a few days and right away knew that I had to have one just like hers because I was so very impressed. Below are the things that I just love about this MP3 player:

1) It has 1 GIG of internal flash memory and a slot to add another 1 GIG SD card for a total of 2 GIGS of flash memory.
2) I just added an extra 1 GIG MEMORY card to store even more music.
3) It plays WMA, or MP3 files.
4) It will accept audible book files.
5) It has a BRIGHT BLUE display with the song name, the lenght and more info.
6) The display can be read in a dark room.
7) The size is just perfect.
8) The headphones have a great sound.
9) It is very easy to use and set-up this player.
10) It is an ideal first player for any age group.
11) It comes with so many accessories,4 covers, and even a alkaline battery!
12) The wonderful RCA quality and design of the player.
All, in all, I love this player. I have many good things to say about it!

This is a great MP3 player for an even better price. Stores about 200 plus songs and has room for an expansion card with unlimited amount of additional storage! Tells the name, title of songs. Looking at buying more for friends.
