The Panasonic KX-TGA650B handset is a supplemental accessory for Panasonic's KX-TG6500B-series phone systems (required, sold separately). Operating on the same 5.8 GHz frequency and with the same digital spread spectrum signal technology as the base system, this handset supplies the clear, consistent connection you rely on every day, with features to spare.
Access to the 50-station phonebook and caller ID/call waiting (with subscription to local service) is provided via the menu-driven three-line backlit LCD. A light-up antenna visually alerts you to new calls and messages, and you can even check your answering machine's messages from the handset.
The handset includes a belt clip and a phone jack for a headset (sold separately) for hands-free conversation, and a locator sound lets you track down the handset even when it's buried in the couch cushions.
