Allied Telesis'' MobileLAN Power is a plug and play LAN hardware product set that delivers electrical power to the access points on a wireless LAN over existing Ethernet cables, without workarounds or compromise. It is a cost-saver not only for the warehouse or factory sharing data from terminals, but also for the office LAN supporting laptop users as they roam through the enterprise. Allied Telesis'' MobileLAN power system consists of an Ethernet switch, a power bridge (or a power-enabled Ethernet switch) that serves as the power source, and a number of power-enabled data terminals. MobileLAN power bridges are available in 1-, 6-, and 12-port models. The system is connected in a star topology where each load has a dedicated connection to the centralized power bridge. If a powered device is incompatible with the power bridge, an external splitter is installed. The power bridge is connected in series to an Ethernet switch/hub (cascaded) where the power bridge's inputs are connected to the switch outputs, and the power bridge outputs are connected to the patch panel.

Defective and poor manufacturer customer service.......2007-11-02

I bought this product at Target in July 2007. Now only four months later it is bowing in the middle. Our 27" TV weighs only 100 lbs and they say it will hold 200 lbs. When we contacted BluDot this was their response:

"First, the item is made of particle board and the weight limit on the top panel is 200 lbs. This "bowing" that you're experiencing is normal for this material due to its reflective behavior. For most people this concern is more aesthetic. If you're not over the weight limit, the structual integrity is intact and the stand will not collapse.

If you would like us to send you a foot assembly, we can ship you one.
It was specifically designed to give the stand additional support."

So this must be a recurring problem with their design.

I explained that a fifth leg would ruin the look of the product and they responded by basically saying, you get what you paid for.

If you buy this product, they are saying in their email that they expect it to "bow". They will not refund you your money.

I bought this stand at Target after looking at many similar stands. It is designed really well and looks quite good especially given the fact that I only paid $160. It assembles quite easily and seems to be fairly sturdy.

Beautiful TV Stand, but arrived with a large scratch on top.......2007-02-01

I bought this from target along with a few other Hudson pieces. It looks great and seems to be very sturdy - was very easy to put together with the help of a friend and electric screwdriver. My only problem was when it arrived it had a Large scratch across the entire top piece. Normally I would return, but too much of a hassle and I really do like the TV stand. I have a 42' TV so it covers most of it anyway. Would highly recommend - hopefully it will not arrive with scratches. Also, shipment was VERY fast received it the next day!
