Terrible Phone.......2007-12-26
The Sound quality for this phone is awful. It's too low unless you blast the volume and the static is sometimes so bad I can't hear anything else. The Caller Id produces an error more often than any cordless I've ever owned. Sometimes it doesn't save the last few numbers that called. Why that is I can't figure out. The phone is less than a year old but it has reached a point where now it makes a hum noise then dies immediately after.
Save your $20. Put it towards a nicer phone.

I loved this phone for about 9 months then the battery started dying. I bought it because it was cheap. I suppose I got my money's worth out of it as I used it quite a bit, but I expected it to last around five years, not one.

it is cheap and performs like a cheap phone. battery is dead after about a year. the volume is low. the screen started to fail. the coverage is average at best. you can do better for a few bucks more

Doesn't have a whole lot of features, but it's perfect for what we needed -- a simple, easy-to-use single-channel cordless that would work with our office phone architecture.

This phone is horrible -- the sound quality is terrible, the caller id display is extremely faint, and there is constant static that sometimes i have to hang up in the middle of a call and redial just to get rid of the noise. my cheap radioshack 900mhz phone that i've had for 4 years is waaaay better. the only plus about this GE phone is that the battery life is great.

the first day i began using this phone it absolutely sucked! it has way too much static and sometimes people cant hear me at all.

I bought the cheapest phone and that is what I got. It does not show when I have messages (from the phone company). It feels and sounds like you are talking into the wall. I can hear the other person fine. If you are not constantly going to be talking on the phone then it is fine.
You get what you pay for. Next time I will spend more.

We received the phones on time but uppon receiveing them only one of the phones worked. It charges up but is unable to make a connection, it is the extension phone, not the main base phone. I am not sure how to handle this because it has been nearly 6 months, however it has never worked. I just didn't know how to handle the problem.

Never owned a Sanus stand or furniture before, but I am sold. The picture doesn't do this stand any justice. The cherry finish is great, not to mention it is solid wood not a crappy veneer. It was simple to put together. "So easy a caveman could do it!" Geico, you are in my head again! I looks absolutely awesome and seems to be very solid and durable. It is home to a heavy 32" Tube TV for right now. The ability to hide your wires in the back really hides a huge mess, and is a must with glass topped entertainment furniture. Don't want your visitors to see that huge mess of wires behind you TV, do you? I Love It! Plus, the price(100.00 less than others) & the quick shipping I got thru "Endless Variety" was unbeatable. Repeat customer for sure. Amazon you are the greatest!

The reason I purchased this stand is because I was unable to find another TV stand with a shelf big enough to hold my center channel speaker (Klipsch model RC-35 height = 7.9", width = 23.5", depth = 10.9"). The main problem was with the height and then width. I have an HD CRT tube based TV (Zenith) on top. The center channel speaker on the shelf immediately under the TV and use the bottom shelf to for some AV components.
Another reason I choose these products is because I wanted a matching TV stand and entertainment component tower (NF206). The cherry finish is wonderful and they really compliment each other in beauty and style.
Well built, strong and stylish........2006-02-21
We were very impressed with the quality of this stand. We have a Sony 34" HDTV tube set that weighs 193 lbs and it held it without a creak. The thick tempered top glass is incredibly strong. I like the open architecture of the lower component shelving for access to the components and good line-of-sight for the remotes, but even with the hidden cable routing, the cables are still more visible than with a solid stand (especially the ones on the floor, such as the cable coax and the surge suppressor). Still, it's a beautiful piece, very well designed and built. It's a little expensive, but it's solid wood, and anything cheaper is going to be MDF and laminate, which I would not trust with a heavy TV set.
A good general stand - not high end.......2005-05-14
Bought the cherry version of this and currently have a 32" TV on which is heavy 175LBS and the stand handles it but always seems a little scary when I get near it and wonder if the glass will break. It should hold it but I would shy away from this stand for very heavy TVs. Solid construction and no blemishes even though it is another made in China product. You cannot beat the price since other wooden stands can cost 2-3 times more but only look slightly better. If price is an issue this is a good buy.

When I started shopping around for a new set of A/V furniture, I hit all the usual suspects, Ikea, and other local furniture stores. All of the offerings seemed about the same, a large cabinet for the TV, potentially with some side units. I felt this furniture could quickly be dated by the new generation of large, flat TV's so I kept looking.
I found Sanus when I started shopping at A/V stores instead of furniture stores. They have a nice line of very attractive furniture that will still work when if you upgrade to a large television.
This particular television stand has worked out very well. A few days after ordering it from Amazon, a large, heavy box showed up on my doorstep (glad I didn't have to figure out how to get it home!) and I started assembling. Assembly went very quickly. The single required tool is provided and the instructions are clear.
The result is a very sturdy television stand that looks great and is wide enough (about 42") to accommodate some very large televisions. It also supports several hundred pounds, which means you can put large direct view TV's on this and not worry.
