Excellent keyboard with a small footprint.......2007-10-21
I bought this keyboard to replace my giant Logitech multimedia keyboard that I bought a few years ago. I realized that I never use the extra keys and the fancy rounded edges just take up extra space.
There seems to be a few versions of the Logitech UltraX. The one that I received looks like the picture, but the backspace key is the wider kind that takes up two spaces.
Pros:
- Slim profile thanks to the laptop-style keys.
- Very small foot print. My desk feels a lot bigger with this keyboard.
- It's just a good, solid, standard keyboard: wide backspace key, no weird F-lock button, no extra scroll wheels or crazy stuff like that.
Cons:
- The positioning feels slightly wider even though the keyboard is smaller. I can't quite figure it out, but I noticed that I can't reach the End key with my pinkie anymore.
- The laptop-style keys take a little getting used to if you're coming from a standard keyboard.

This antenna was given to me, and I said what the heck, I'll try it on my HDTV. Wasn't I psyched when I pulled in nearly a dozen digital stations! Yes, you need to put it right in the right place, but it works very well.
In major metro areas (30 minutes out of Boston, here) positioning isn't too big a worry. I just set it there and it works.
I bought a SilverSensor Philips HDTV antenna to replace this, thinking that I'd get even more stations...wrong. Quite the opposite. Sounds crazy, but this antenna FAR outperforms the Philips.
And A Camping We Will Go.......2005-12-10
This little antenna goes perfect with the portable TV I lug around when I take my tent out for a camping trip. It pulls in most local channels and allows me to keep up with the weather or the local news in whatever town I may be nearby while camping. Sure, it isn't as good as having a satellite dish hooked up to your set, but it's a lot easier to tote around when I'm tent camping.
To add a little flash to it, I slap on a little aluminum foil once in awhile to help out with the reception. You should see how the ladies flock to it when it gets its foil on(heh, heh).
Suggested to those who want something that doesn't take up a whole lot of space in a tent where space can sometimes be crucial. Also, I've learned over time that this antenna can take quite a few drops and knocks and keep on ticking. My antenna has quite a few scratches and nicks on it and it hasn't let me down yet.

For the money it is okay - but sems to need constant adjustment. Would set it for a channel then come bak later in the day and needed to adjust again.

I dropped my cable contract and got this instead. It works better than the antenna that came with the set but its not perfect. Each channel seems to need some adjustment. But then hey, if the reception stinks the kids can always read a book.
(Of the 7 channels locally broadcast, 1 is unviewable, 1 is poor but viewable and the rest fine. ) But then I didn't want to spend a fortune to do it right.
